“Tucked away in a little side parking lot is this wonderful and authentic Mexican food truck. We ordered the quesabirra tacos with a side of consome and the food came out fairly quick.
While the tacos were delicious, the texture was on the soggier side. This is was a little disappointing as the other times I’ve been here the tacos are nice and crunchy. The consome was not too salty and has a deep and rich flavor to it.
Overall this is a great little hole in the wall that is perfect for either a late night dinner or if you just crave some delicious food.“

On the weekends they have lamb barbacoa, which is amazing, and they also sell the lamb broth definitely get it if you come! So good

“Another one of my go-to spots for fresh Mexican seafood in San Jose! This is a food truck you definitely don’t want to pass up. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and you can really taste the quality in every bite.
My personal favorite is the burrito, but the tostada is an absolute must-try too!
The owner/cook is always friendly, welcoming, and great to talk to, which makes the experience even better. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating in a comfortable, relaxed setting, making it a great place to enjoy your meal.“

“Very good place, the tacos were very well priced and the meat tasted like it was barbecued. They are smaller than the other places, but the flavor definitely makes up for it. Chili is very spicy, so don't put too much if you can't take it. Overall a good place to hit up when you want a qui k plate of tacos.“

“The cook at this location is one of a kind. He knows what he's doing. I always come for the camaron (shrimp) tacos. So good I came back the same day for more. The staff is also very friendly. I recommend this spot to everyone in the Bay Area especially all the locals in San Jose that are currently sleeping on this place.“

“They serve single tortilla tacos but they are hand made from scratch and have a good thickness to them. They load it up with your desired protein and provide a covered salad bar for fixings or provide some to go with carry out orders. I would highly recommend their Al pastor tacos, as someone who has tried tacos throughout the country and frequent Mexico, the first bite left me in awe. I hope it wasn’t just a lucky day but rather that they are consistent with the quality. Definitely worth a stop.“

“These were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I had just gone to Mexico City a month ago and these were right up there with my favorites there, at Tacos El Betin. The most-orders: cabeza, tripas, and buche. The proteins were perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, fatty on the inside. The green salsa was fantastic like other reviewers have mentioned.Be sure to get there earlier if you can because there’s a bit of a line. But don’t let it throw you off if there’s a line because they move quickly. There’s a table and some shade next to the truck as well. You can’t go wrong coming here.“
“I love me some Mexican food. So when I was driving back to the airport, I wanted to try these for dinner. I ordered 5 Taco Chicos al Pastor, and they were pretty good. The only thing I noticed was that they were pretty dry. Nice place, lots of seating and very friendly staff. Would go again.“

I ordered a regular chicken burrito with no beans as wanting something light. It came out perfect. They brought out chips and salsa to my table on the patio. Was a great Saturday morning relax outside with some shade.

“Birria has become very popular in San Jose and my friend Jose @CompaaJavii recommended me to try dish, the Birria Pizzadilla! It's from a food truck called Tarasco Taqueria in San Jose, CA @TarascoTaq_SJ. The meat it's made from is goat stewed in broth, the soup known as \\\"Consome\\\". For $20, you get eight huge, generous portions of tortillas filled with Birria, cheese, cilantro and onions. They give you lime on the side along with green and red salsa. Every bite is filled with cheese and tender meat. It's bursting in flavors with the different spices and chilli they used. They also have exotic Fanta Soda imported from Mexico at $10 a can. A little pricey but it was a good splurge to try. They also have traditional items as well to try. They are open every day from 11 A.M to 10 P.M located on the corner of Story Road and Adrian Way in San Jose. If you want the best bang for your bucks in Birria, check them out. @TarascoTaq_SJ“

“This place has a cult following for the amazing flavorful tacos. Infamously known throughout San Jose, this os the hidden gem of the bay area, BEST TACOS EVER. Don't believe me, go on the weekend and try them out for yourself. Generously portions, Spicy Salsas, oh and the guacamole (drool)..PS talk to the chef and he can even host a small gathering or even your wedding, I highly recommend it.“

“Heard about this place from a friend who tried their Carnitas burrito. I finally went and ordered their carne asada burrito. Glad I was able to try this place out, a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Burrito came with 2 sauces and 1 Lil cup of pickled onion/habanero. Burrito is fine on its own and thats a good thing because the sauces didnt do it for me. Next time I order, im going to ask for no salsa and extra pickled onion/habanero mix because that was delicious!“

They show up on time, bring plenty of yummy food for the employees to come back for seconds and thirds.
