Shark Boy Fish and Chips is an underrated hole-in-the-wall spot serving some of the best fish and chips in the Bay. The fish is super crispy on the outside, light and not greasy at all, and perfectly flaky inside. The portions are huge and generous, with a ginormous basket of fries. The Cajun chips (fries) are out of this world, and the Bam Bam sauce (a smoky chipotle) pairs perfectly with everything. The fish & shrimp combo comes with fries and potato salad, everything super fresh and hot. The shrimp are juicy and sweet, more prawn-sized. The "Hella Hungry" includes four fried shrimp, two large pieces of fish, and two sides like mac salad and fries. The garlic fries and clam chowder are also phenomenal. The value is amazing and everything is high quality and packed with flavor. The service is phenomenal, with friendly and chill staff. The owner actually cares and is super kind. The place is simple and chill, clean with plenty of seating and a patio. The food is cooked fresh to order, so there may be a wait, but it is worth it. It is the kind of place to try once and keep coming back to for amazing food and good vibes.
