Nice place for walking and running
Lovely place to visit with oldest and tallest trees some standing more than two thousand years old
Redwood Grove Nature Preserve is a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy nature. The towering redwood trees, shaded trails, and tranquil surroundings make it perfect for a relaxing walk and a break from the busy city. It’s especially nice to stroll along the paths, listen to the sounds of nature, and enjoy the fresh air. A lovely hidden gem and definitely worth visiting!

The area features charming wooden walkways and small grills for picnics, making it a nice spot for a quick visit. Visitors have described the preserve as a wonderful little getaway, providing a similar experience to the real Redwood Forest in Northern California, with the added benefit of being close to the Bay Area. It's a tranquil grove, great for a walk or just to disconnect without needing to drive far. Located right next to Shoup park, it’s not a place for hikes but large enough to take a good walk and keep the little ones busy. The hiking trails are very short but well taken care of, perfect for young kids. The drive is absolutely beautiful, with so much lush greenery so close to the city. Massive trees really added to the charm.
