A hidden gem in the middle of Los Altos! 🌲 Such a peaceful little redwood forest — the moment you walk in, the temperature drops and everything goes quiet under the tall trees. The wooden boardwalk trail along the creek is short and easy, perfect for a relaxing evening walk. It's small, so don't expect a long hike, but for a quick nature break it's perfect.

Pristine nature
Nice little preserve with a boardwalk. They have a small grove of redwoods and other native plants and trees. Shaded and therefore fairly cool even on a sunny day. We parked on the street but there is also parking at a nearby park.

Located right next to Shoup park, it’s not a place for hikes but large enough to take a good walk and keep the little ones busy. The hiking trails are very short but well taken care of, perfect for young kids. The drive is absolutely beautiful, with so much lush greenery so close to the city. Massive trees really added to the charm.
