“After my doctor’s appointment at Kaiser , I'm craving a flat white. My experience at this café was wonderful. I placed a mobile order and upon entering, an employee immediately greeted me while preparing drinks for a group order. Within a minute, another friendly employee asked me what I’d like to order as I stood in front of wrong cashier line.Ralph, who made my coffee, noticed a small spill and carefully replaced the lid before handing it to me at the pickup counter. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and felt welcomed and respected throughout.“
“This is one my fav SB to visit when I want to get some serious work done without interruptions! It’s so spacious and there are outside tables to enjoy the Sun. They have the most comfy and cushioned chairs & benches. I always take the long table tucked in the corner, it’s perfect for all my stuff. The music isn’t too loud either & so many restrooms! Also, they have the coolest hand washing station I’ve ever seen!“
“Newish location. Still quiet without the long lines. Not crowded. Tried the Pistachio Latte which was pretty good. I don't really notice the pistachio taste but pistachio is pretty mild in flavor anyway. It tasted more like a mocha and caramel combo but less sweet which is a plus. My go to drink at Starbucks is usually the mocha but I think the pistachio will take its place. Spacious dining area with nice outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. The girl working the register was nice and professional. She quickly took my order and only waited 5 minutes for it.“
“So this review is for the location. Starbucks coffee is what it is and if you know you know it's consistently ok. So why is this location the best of the best? The baristas. Baristas make or break a coffee shop and the folks here are friendly and considerate. I'm terrible with names (I'm sorry y'all), but the folks here greet my 7 year old by name. From the first time he came in they treated him with kindness and talked to him rather than just me. This means that he associates Starbucks with a fun place to go to even though there is no play center. This means that _I_ can go to Starbucks and get my coffee without having to figure out how to convince him to stop. He's eager to stop in to talk to his "family". As an example of what I mean, today, they decorated his bag with his treasured lemon loaf with stars and his name. And when he dropped his hot cocoa all over himself and the floor they replaced it. What could have been "let's think about how we respond and manage our emotions" moment, turned in to a "grateful for how others show us kindness" moment. In terms of space, there are plenty of tables and wireless. It's a smaller store, so not really suited for large groups. The chairs aren't super comfy, but occasionally I'll come over and work for a bit to have some chill time.“
“It's comfortable inside, you can also choose to sit ouside. But there are only limited parking spaces.Parking: The shop is inside a big apartment complex, so it's hard to find the place the first time. I parked on the street and went to the complex to find the shop“
“The service is honestly super great. I ordered at the wrong location from my app and called in to tell them just so they wouldn't have drinks sitting in at the bar. The person I spoke to (Emilia) was super nice about it and even went out of her way to ask her manager about a refund or a remake. I wasn't able to make it on the same day but came back two days later and she remembered the conversation. They re-made my drinks to perfection, and I appreciated just how nice and accommodating they were about the situation even during a Friday morning rush.“
“I just started coming here and the girls here are so nice ! They always tell me to have a nice day with a kind smile, i usually go to the one in valley fair & they always have an attitude there and go overboard on the ice. I really like this location better.“
“My home starbucks. Also happens to be one of the few open until 10. They always get my customized drinks right and tasty, versus other starbucks that will forget the same modifications it seems consistently. The drive-through can get insanely packed at times, so do yourself a favor, and order pick up ahead in the app. The team is extremely nice there, and will frequently welcome you into the store if they aren't too busy. Super glad that they have seating opened again.“
“First time at this Starbucks due to a quick run into Safeway. No line. My frappuccino was ready in less than 2 mins. The cashier and barista were very nice. Starbucks baristas inside Safeway tend to not be as pleasant but I had a good experience here. Drink was great. I also took advantage of a Safeway coupon for a $2 frappuccino. It made my day!“
“I ordered 2 trays earlier this week to be ready by 2pm pick up today (Friday, May 10) Due to unexpected circumstances at work I was delayed and came in at about 330. To my surprise they were not ready and even more surprising they weren't even started. I heard the gentleman helping me call for someone over the loud speaker, and a manager came over to assist. Apparently, there was a miscommunication in the morning and they dropped the ball. They offered a free Starbucks drink while I waited and apologized for the delay and miscommunication. Although It was obviously frustrating that I had to wait and I am now cutting it close to my event, I was impressed by the way 2 managers and 2-3 employees came together to get the trays done as quickly as possible. When they were done; they gave me a discount and Oscar insisted on helping take everything to the car (which I also appreciated). They definitely came together to turn my negative experience into a positive one, thank you guys!“
“Very clean starbucks. The customer service was 10/10. Very kind and patient cashiers. Quick and efficient on my order even with the long drive through orders they have on top. My drink was also made and tasted exactly how I wanted it . Also the place is very quiet perfect for studying. This location was supposed to have a remodel yet the remodeling got stopped. But still this starbucks location to me is definitely one I would love to come back to again. :)“
“Give them credit for always working so hard and multitasking to serve customers here. This Starbucks inside Safeway at Rivermark plaza is always busy. Long lines expected and being understaffed shouldn't be a surprise. Give them a break! Lady cashier was very welcoming and friendly. I think she was the same person serving me a few months ago too. Love having her fill my orders. Expect orders to be handled with care as they prepare it for you. I always come for a good cup of holiday beverage and pastries as I walk around Safeway browsing holiday stuff. Peppermint Mocha and blueberry muffin. That's all I needed and was loving it. Always ask for military/veterans discount 10% off if you qualify. Every penny saved helps. Use a cash back credit card to earn extra cash back. If you have a gift card, use it too! Starbucks items aren't cheap for sure. Good ambiance surrounded by lots of holiday red colors this week inside. I enjoyed walking around holiday style sipping my delicious hot beverage while finishing up my blueberry muffin. Sweet! Be naughty or nice. This location isn't huge and they work very slow, but everything Starbucks here is still just as great.“

“One of my favorite locations to get Starbucks while at the mall! It has been at this location for as long as I can remember! 5/5 for staff who work here - so far I have always experienced great customer service. I feel like that's hard to find nowadays...given the times that we're in! Being positive & sending good vibes can really make a difference to someone's day! Unfortunately I don't know their names, but whenever I am placing my order here, the staff is always so kind and welcoming. When I am waiting for my drink, the barista keeps you updated and says (in my case), "AJ, your drink is coming up!" They are also courteous & won't judge you if you need a Venti Iced Water with Extra Ice!! Such a refreshing beverage to beat the heat during the hotter season while you're in San José!! I usually order Starbucks via the mobile app, and the process is seamless. Before ordering, I give myself time - since it IS a huge mall - I tend to order it whenever I'm on the other side of the mall - and would eventually end up walking by this location on this side of the mall - and voíla! My drink is ready on their mobile order pick-up area; don't let the crowd intimidate you, during the peak times - just make your way past them, excusing yourself & pick up your drink - and make your way back out the store into the hustle & bustle of the mall!! I'm pretty simple with my preferences of what I get at Starbucks - usually opt for their Cold Brew Iced Coffees and/or Iced Teas - always a must to satisfy one's thirst for being at a huge mall to browse, stroll, and window-shop! Haha, just kidding... who doesn't need a Starbucks run during your retail therapy?! Tip: Their restrooms used to be open pre-pandemic times - and when the mall hasn't been remodeled/renovated/expanded - just be mindful of that when you do a Starbucks run & realize you need to use the restroom! There are restrooms just down the hall - should you need to relieve yourself.“
“Conveniently located off of Montague Expressway near the Intel building, this new Starbucks location is clean and has a friendly staff. The wait time can be long if you’re there during the post-lunch busy hour, so plan accordingly. Large parking lot with plenty of parking spaces.“
