“Wow what a super GREAT service I got to help me out with my disabled husband who fell asleep at the store and could not be awaken. Matthew Mabalot the Barista offered to help, watched out for him while I ran home to get his wheelchair. He even helped me put him in the car. I am so overwhelmed with that kindness and sevice. Above and beyond!“

“I just have to say that I had the most wonderful service at Starbucks this morning. I have been coming in consistently to get my iced vanilla latte and breakfast sandwiches this past week and between yesterday and today, I had to replace my debit card due to suspicious activity. I was issued a temporary card which doesn’t include the chip and upon ordering my usual order, my card was not being accepted. I didn’t realize that it didn’t have a chip until it was too late, and we tried other options to accept it, but it wouldn’t work.

My barista was Blair, and he had consistently seen me coming in over the course of the past week as well. He was so sweet and kind, and as I’m scrambling to figure out what else I can do, he actually covered my coffee and sandwiches. I was absolutely shocked and replied to him, “Seriously? Omg, are you sure?” it was so unexpected and it was incredibly gracious of him to do that for someone.

I really enjoy coming to this particular Starbucks because it is all inclusive and filled with diverse people who really do care and pay attention to their customers. I always see regulars coming in with big smiles and the social interactions are always positive. I know this isn’t relative for every location , and there are Starbucks on every corner in the city, but this is certainly one that takes the cake for me and will always appreciate the team who works there.“

“Whoever made my drink this morning, DESERVES A RAISE!! I usually get 5 shots of espresso, iced lightly with a few syrups. The smaller the cup, the happier I am. This morning's barista understood the assignment! ❤️
Other baristas tend to give me usual amount of ice and in a venti cup. LOVE this Starbucks particularly!!“

“It's honestly a nice cozy place to just chill and do school work or work of any kind it has nice people and fast service they also got my name right a few times and even the people who usually are here are friendly and nice they even sometimes draw little animals or cartoons that just makes you want to come back even more they even once did a little rat that just so happens to be my sister old nickname for me“

“I don’t drink coffee but i love their refreshers. My favorite is the strawberry Açaí they have pomegranate and they have mango and others, but I don’t really like any other one, but the strawberry. I love that they’re quick. I love that they always have a smile on their face. They’re very very nice. They talk to you right and if they get the order wrong or you gave the order wrong they’re more than happy to fix it most places do not want to fix nothingso if you’re ever near a Starbucks, they’re everywhere you won’t be disappointed. They’re really good.“

“I frequent many Starbucks in the San Jose area, but this location is the best . Staff are friendly & greeting the customers is very inviting. Manager is very aware when it gets crowded & helps engage the customers while providing good service. Starbucks Inc should give the employees a bonus for making customers feel welcome z“

“New drinks to try all the time! Staff super friendly and FAST! PLENTY of seating inside and outside. Handicap friendly. There is little limited parking in front but plenty on the side.

Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple handicap with wheelchair space right in front. Well maintained ramps and smooth surfaces for easy access. Heavy glass double doors so wheelchair might have a slight issue but not that bad.“

“I need to shoutout the Starbucks worker who was wearing a grey 1971 hat today. All the workers are always amazing and nice here but his energy was amazing. He took my order and was the nicest and gave me such great vibes. I also love the new upgraded Starbucks, it feels so much cozier and great vibes for studying.“

“I am a regular at this location. Today I went for the new Coconut refresher. It came with the strawberries in it. I am not a fan of the strawberries. After they sit in a drink for a bit they are so slimy and just nasty overall. I was pretty sure I didn't notice and it was my fault for removing them from the order. When I got to work I checked the order and there is nowhere to remove them. When you go to customize you have to add them.
My recommendation to the store is be aware of what is not supposed to be in a drink. 0 out of 5 for today

All morning I have been going to places to redeem my birthday items and most places have been dismissing me rather quickly or have been giving me a hard time.

“The staff is friendly and helpful. My drink and food were done quickly. There are less than half a dozen small tables inside and a few tables outside.

Parking can be a challenge cuz it shares the parking lot with H-Mart. It's better to order for to-go since the place is pretty small inside.“

“I had the best experience at this shop a few weeks ago. I usually order a white mocha with strawberry cold foam, but they were out of the strawberry when I visited. Isa was incredibly kind and helpful; she suggested I try the lavender since it has been so popular. Because I hadn’t tried it before, she gave my friend and me a small sample to taste-test first to make sure we’d like it before we ordered. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back!“

“I visit this Starbucks almost daily and the service here is consistently solid. The service is fast, food/drinks are consistently served with good quality. With the recent furniture changes inside, the atmosphere is also very good. The baristas always wear a smile; they are helpful, polite, efficient, and handle busy hours well. Special shout out to some of the baristas here - Ipsita, Alyza, Vivian, Kayla, Maria, Abby, Jacy, Joseph and others who provide excellent service. I appreciate the positive atmosphere here at this starbucks.“

“It’s a small store if we look at the lateral space. But, anyhow it is okay for me. I chose one table and put my laptop down before starting to order my beverage. I try Matcha Latte by my own style, it’s good for one who loves to drink in a healthy way. Grande Iced Matcha Latte, Soy, No Classic Syrup, Two Packets Stevia in the Raw. Perfect for me. Tuan, bartender, made my drink well, thank you pro. All staff here are very friendly and great. They make the store feel like home and very welcoming with a warm vibe. “Recently moved into the neighborhood and I’m trying to figure out my go to Starbucks and this one seems to be the winner.

I try to leave my place around 5:00am and this Starbucks is open bright and early!!! Seems like they are open earlier than most Starbucks in San Jose. That’s great!!!

I’ve never used mobile pick up through drive thru until this week and decided to try it since it’s more convenient than getting out of the car. It has been great!!! The employees who I’ve encountered here bright and early have been wonderful too!!! Thank you!!!

“Have been here few times and this is one of the most impressively run Starbucks. Staff & Manager ( Tyler ) always great clientela as they enter, bring the drinks to your table within the 4 min rule & place is kept clean. Only drawbacks ( outside of Manager's control ) is there's a lack of available outlets to charge tablets or phones as in other Starbucks location, and also there's a lack of available furniture ( the place could accommodate 5 or 4 more small tables as other Starbucks Locations. Manager & staff are aware of these shortcomings & do their best.“

“Semi regular stop on the way home from riding Calero or Santa Theresa. A trenta refresher hits the spot after a hot ride.Stopped in this afternoon after a ride about ten minutes before closing. Staff were clearly getting ready to close up but were happy to serve us anyway and even dealt with my son’s customizations. Thanks team, those drinks were really needed.“

“First time here! I arrived on a Saturday, and it was quite crowded, which shows how popular it is. I ordered a Grande Iced Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte with 3 pumps of syrup—the taste was perfect for me.

The store offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a great point, and I love the artistic, cozy, warm, and modern decoration inside. The staff is super attentive; I saw a guy cleaning the entrance window, and all team members were working hard and smoothly together.

“My wife and I really like this Starbucks. We visit her mother at the nursing home on Payne Ave several times a month and we always stop here to get her different flavored lattes... She just loves her lattes! The staff is always friendly and service is usually pretty quick, however we do wish they were more consistent with flavors of the lattes. Sometimes they seem to not have as much flavor to them as other times, but still good. This is her mother's opinion. My Macchiato's have always been very good. Parking is sometimes difficult, but we always find parking somewhere.

“This is a Starbucks location located inside a Target department store, just like many other such Target locations have a Starbucks inside them. As far as the Starbucks offerings go, it's standard faire Starbucks and you know what to expect and they generally deliver it. So you like Starbucks and you happen to be inside this Target location, then no reason not to go.“

“It's a typical Starbucks. This one is a bit smaller so not easy to camp out and work or study out of. There is also no drive through, so you have to order via mobile or order in store and pickup in store.

I chose this location because it has plenty of seating, with lots of tables and chairs inside.

“I can’t say enough good things about the Starbucks on 1702 Meridian! This location easily has some of the nicest staff members I’ve ever encountered at any coffee shop. They go completely above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

What really stands out is how they take the time to remember your name, it adds such a wonderful, personalized touch to my day.

On top of that, they even remember my past orders, making my coffee runs incredibly smooth and effortless. If you want great drinks served by genuinely kind people who care about their customers, this is the absolute best spot!“

“Excellent for Starbucks experience. Good inside and outside seating. Decent Wi-Fi access. Service was up to Starbucks standards with friendliness. The only real problem that I noticed about the place was the bathrooms. When going into the bathrooms there are two bathrooms. The one on the right had two problems inside this bathroom. First, the sensor that turns the water on did not work well and I had trouble getting it to stay on for any length of time or even to come back on. So I can can the soap dispensers in both bathrooms need to be replaced. It had portable dispensers sitting on the sinks. But what really needs to happen is some maintenance to replace the dispensers that are built into the equipment. Overall this is an excellent place to go visit and get a coffee, hot or cold plus some small bites.“

“Excellent Starbucks location, Brand New and Clean! Coffee was fresh & made very quickly. The relaxing coffee smell hits you the second you walk inside. The only drawback is that most of the chairs are quite uncomfortable and there are only two sets of nice chairs that are almost always taken, maybe this is a corporate change Starbucks has made so it's no fault of the location, but it could be improved.

Parking: Parking is good but sometimes the drive thru line backs up quite a bit through the winding parking lot“

“I came into this location last month since I’ve now discovered their hours have been changed to a later time! I was immediately greeted when I entered in the location with an uplifting smile and enthusiastic tone by Vedika! She took my order and made my drink quickly and ensured it was done to my expectations! I was shocked with how efficient the service was and how perfect my pumpkin spice latte was made! It tasted incredible which doesn’t happen as much as you’d think since most places that make this drink fail to give it that flavor (mostly tastes like milk! The Sevice was a 10/10 along with the quality of the drink. The fact that she was super positive, took the time to ensure that it was made to my satisfaction, and made it an exceptional experience blew my expectations! I would highly recommend she is provided a raise for her overall outstanding service! She is an asset to this location!“

“Clean, fast, and nice. Orders don't take long and the workers are polite. Not many people there, no sitting since Covid-19 which makes sense. If you're aiming to pick up a drink quick I suggest going there while shopping at Target.“

“This Starbucks sits on a busy corner near a middle school and Rose Garden area. Local college students and local frequent here. They offer only one decaf hit tea and several cold decaf tea. The coffee and specialty drinks are standard Starbucks® menu items. They offer a variety of muffins and pastries with no gluten free options.
They offer outdoor tables with a few umbrellas. Indoor tables are mostly accessible.
Menus are posted on the walls with white background with small dark letters with glare from lights are challenging to read

“This Starbucks is conveniently located on our way to work. Mornings can be busy, but the staff quickly handles orders. We often use the app to save time, and they add cute stickers to our drinks that brighten our day. The interior is nice, and the service is excellent with friendly staff. We love coming here.“

“Just went like 15 minutes ago, I got a brownie and a Blonde Espresso, I can say that the guy that took my order was so nice, and he did the best Blond Espresso that I have ever had😩, I love their brownies. I highly recommend this location , people there is so nice and quickly.“

“Fully stocked but tucked into the Safeway, this location is very convenient for me. I like putting my order in and then going to quickly shop for essentials. With the pharmacy at the Safeway, I found myself waiting for a prescription fill once so I went and got a drink while I waited. This location was also just remodeled, updating it's look and equipment.“

“Had a great experience at this Starbucks. Verizon has given me two $5 Starbucks rewards in the past. Other Starbucks would scan the barcodes but nothing ever worked. Then they would expire. After receiving another reward, I asked Hanna here to scan it. Nothing! As I was handing her the cash for the full amount, she tried hitting the Starbucks Gift Card selection before scanning again.
