Ordered 2 chicken tacos on a weekend afternoon. Service was very friendly and I enjoyed some chips and salsa during the very brief wait for the food. The food was neatly packed and great portion size.
Amazing staff, the food was incredible and fast! I can't wait to come back for more tacos.
They will get you right, better than chipotle!

Taqueria El Jefe is a food truck that serves friendly service and generous portions. Customers enjoy complimentary self serve chips and salsa during the brief wait. The food is neatly packed and great portion size. Menu items include chicken tacos, birria ramen, al pastor tacos, birria bacon cheese burger, fries, burrito, super burrito, soft tacos, hard tacos, and horchata. The birria ramen is rich and flavorful with tender meat. The al pastor tacos are perfectly seasoned with a great balance of savory and sweet. The birria bacon cheese burger is super good, and the fries on the side might be enough for 3 people. The super burrito is a formidable size, and the price and the burrito itself are both great. The chicken is thick and didn’t have any fat or any of the other chewy parts. The meat is cooked perfectly and not chewy. The horchata is another level, with a burst of cinnamon. Meats tried include Al pastor, carne asada, carnitas and lengua, all delicious. The salsas are also delicious. The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating, even despite a very short notice. This is the best food truck in a long time and potentially the best in a 15 mile radius.
