Adobe Lodge is a historic venue that hosts weddings and events, located conveniently next to the Mission Santa Clara. The unique building has a lovely outdoor space for cocktail hours and dinners on the lawns, with options to move inside for dancing and cake cutting. The gardens surrounding the Lodge add to the beauty of the overall space. The venue offers a variety of rentals through their partner, making decisions on place settings and colors streamlined.

The catering director, Jessica, was helpful but challenging to contact due to staffing shortages. Despite this, she ensured that everything ran smoothly. The catering company, Bon Appetit, provided surprisingly good food for the event. The dinner service was professional and efficient, even though the kitchen wasn't fully reopened after COVID.

While parking for guests was a bit inconvenient, being on the other side of the SCU campus, it wasn't a major issue. The venue rental price was reasonable, but the food and beverage package was considered overpriced. The default rental options included with the venue were upgraded, as the default chairs were not deemed attractive.

Overall, hosting a wedding reception at Adobe Lodge was a positive experience, despite some communication challenges and pricing issues. The venue's unique style, outdoor spaces, and professional service make it a memorable location for special events.
