I was looking for a quick bite in the area and thought I'd go for a banh mi. To my surprise, there were not a lot of options that were not Lee's. So I thought I would try Vien Dong. The parking lot can be a bit chaotic at times and the spaces are a tad tight, so park at your own risk. Vien Dong is located at the right end of the plaza so it's easy to spot. This is such a hole in the wall Viet bakery! I was visiting from out of town and flying out of the airport early Sunday morning. Nothing was really open around the area except for some fast food places and donut shops. I happened to stumble on this gem and tried their pork pate chaud. The pastry was very flaky and crusty. A bit of a warning, the parking space is quite busy and tight due to the Lee's Supermarket. Best practice is to park a bit more farther and just walk - it'll be worth it. This is my to go spot for sugar cane juice and they do not water down the drink unlike the place at the Grand Century mall. The sugar cane drink with calamansi is my personal favorite.
