“Happy Donuts in Palo Alto is an absolute must visit—especially if you’re looking for something delicious early in the morning. Their breakfast sandwiches and donuts were incredibly fresh and so tasty. The glazed donut holes in particular were mouth watering—they literally melt in your mouth and warning…you will definitely need a dozen as they will finish quick!! So yummy!

Leslie is beyond amazing. She works so hard and somehow keeps the entire place balanced and running smoothly even as it gets busy. Her energy is so positive and welcoming, which makes a huge difference when you’re visiting at 5am like I did. It’s one of the very few places open that early in Palo Alto, and starting your morning with such good vibes and great food makes the experience even better.

“Randomly saw this place and was on the way back home so dropped by for their BBQ mixed plate.

Overall their portions are larger then any Hawaiian BBQ I've been too but they are a couple bucks more as well.

Chicken was great but their beef was a bit unseasoned. It was fine with the sauce but by itself was pretty mid. Mac salad was also decent.

Overall not a bad try but again big portions and also a bit more pricy. Parking is nonexistent as well.“

Indoor and outdoor furniture has also improved. Less cluttered inside.

“This place which for a clinical error on my part I had not visited although I live within its vicinity, 1 freeway exit. It has quickly raised the bar on what a fresh/lightly crunchy/ warm/ delicious Apple Fritter should taste like. Never overcooked or dry n crunchy. So If u like a good A. F. The donuts, croissants, and other sweets are great, and I enjoy their breakfast food as well. They do a solid breakfast wrap, breakfast bagels, and they have iced & hot coffee as well as bananas and other drinks.

“This is another location to get donuts and bagels. I’ve never been to a donut shop where it has a self-serving coffee station. Usually, staff will have to give you coffee cups. The place is small also where I came in. I kinda thought it might be quite bigger based on what I looked up online. They also serve certain pastries too, but don’t know if that’s common on other donut places.

I wouldn’t normally go here since it’s not a local restaurant, but would come here if I feel like I need to stop by here and eat.“

“I absolutely love the gourmet donuts at Bun Appetit! Their Guava Cheesecake and Chocolate Cream are my favorite flavors — rich, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. The doughnuts are fabulously designed and almost too pretty to eat.

“Great coffee. Classic Dunkin’ Donuts. The service was awesome - very efficient server. In a strip mall that is run down so not the ideal location but it doesn’t impact the product - everything you’d want out of a Dunkin in any city. I used the Dunkin app which works well there so no waiting.“

“I come here very often! I really like the egg sandwiches, bagels, and club sandwiches. The donuts are very average, I have not had a fresh one from here before or one that really impressed me. Their coffee is also very simple so don't expect anything fancy there. The staff are very quick and usually friendly although there are some I feel I have irritated just by picking up my order. I am a very self concious person though so maybe I'm imagining things. I am really glad this place exists. I love that they have their own online ordering system that they manage in house! Let's go independence from big corporations!! I'm also excited to see that they're expanding next door and getting a drive thru later this year. Overall, highly recommend.“
