“I’ve been missing East Coast Dunkin culture and know that locations are always incredibly hit or miss- let me save you the time and say that this is the best location in The Bay. My coffee is always made perfectly, the staff is very friendly, and the place is spotlessly clean. Went to the South SF location today and boy did it make me miss this location!! Food is always great too“

“I’ve had donuts from all over the country and hands down this is my fave place. Soft, fresh, warm and fluffy donuts. Glazed, powdered, frosted, jam filled, krullers, old fashioned you name it they got it. My daughter adores their chocolate muffin and their breakfast sandwiches are really good to if you want a more savory start to the day. You can see the parents in the back and the 2 sons working the front and they somehow seem to know everyone in line and remember their favorites! Definitely a local gem. There are a few tiny tables (about 6 people can sit down at any time). Parking is tough - if lucky enough to get one of the parking spots go you but might want to street park or at the plaza down the block instead. Oh, and a little kid dropped their muffin and started crying, and one of the sons promptly went and gave a fresh new one to her free of charge. So sweet both literally and figuratively!“

“Happy Donuts in Palo Alto is an absolute must visit—especially if you’re looking for something delicious early in the morning. Their breakfast sandwiches and donuts were incredibly fresh and so tasty. The glazed donut holes in particular were mouth watering—they literally melt in your mouth and warning…you will definitely need a dozen as they will finish quick!! So yummy!

Leslie is beyond amazing. She works so hard and somehow keeps the entire place balanced and running smoothly even as it gets busy. Her energy is so positive and welcoming, which makes a huge difference when you’re visiting at 5am like I did. It’s one of the very few places open that early in Palo Alto, and starting your morning with such good vibes and great food makes the experience even better.

If you’re in Palo Alto and need an early morning bite, Happy Donuts is definitely worth stopping by, highly recommended!!“

“This has become our new weekend spot to pick up breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and donuts. My husband is from the East Coast and is quite particular about breakfast sandwiches and these get his approval. The yeast donuts (the glazed in particular) are really good and we love the cruffins. Vietnamese and regular iced coffees are great and they use pebble ice. Kind, fast service.“

The donuts, croissants, and other sweets are great, and I enjoy their breakfast food as well. They do a solid breakfast wrap, breakfast bagels, and they have iced & hot coffee as well as bananas and other drinks.

“Good place to quickly grab a bite and head to the train station. Variety of Donuts and coffee. Try visiting this store in the mornings before 9 for fresh coffee, donuts and other items. Street parking is available around the store but it could get tight later in the day.“

“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! “Great coffee. Classic Dunkin’ Donuts. The service was awesome - very efficient server. In a strip mall that is run down so not the ideal location but it doesn’t impact the product - everything you’d want out of a Dunkin in any city. I used the Dunkin app which works well there so no waiting.“
