Stumbled upon this place and wow, it’s good. People complaining about service and atmosphere are probably expecting the same treatment at a Cracker Barrel. This is a place to get great food, not have a server chit chat about meaningless crap.
Having said that, I talked up one of the guys at the counter and got some great recommendations. The donuts are top tier as well. We will drive an hour to come get a meal here.

So so good! Everything, including drinks and sides, is sooo good. The garlic shrimp especially is INCREDIBLE. The rice is amazing

Great food and honest service. A few days ago I posted a more negative review, but I've had a change of heart. Frankly, this restaurant isn't supposed to a 5-star ultra-premium dining experience. This restaurant is supposed to satisfy cravings, provide good food for a great price, and be an all-around great spot.
The masubi is 10/10, donuts are fire, drink selection is vast, and the staff are sweet. Highly recommend ‼.

Based on the reviews, shhawaiianbbqdonuts is a local spot open till late night, even until 2:00 am. The food is amazing, with a bunch of good deserts. Specific meals mentioned include the low carb plate, a side of kaluah pork, chicken fried rice, and the BBQ mixed plate. The chicken is great, but the beef can be unseasoned and tough. The spam musubi combo had issues with the rice and seaweed. Portions are larger than other Hawaiian BBQ places, but it is a couple bucks more and the price is worth the food. The staff is very nice and cares about the locals. The ambience is not the main draw, and parking is nonexistent.
