Panda Express in San Jose

“Panda Express is still family owned and operated which is pretty rare for a chain of this size and they also give back to the community. I live nearby and I'm glad they're reasonably priced and they're open so late. I can actually go after work and get a decent meal. My favorite is the double portion chicken teriyaki with chow mein which for me is 2-3 servings. When I eat there I like seeing them cutting up the chicken with skin right in front of me. The food is well seasoned and I don't need any sauce on it. When I visit Panda Express, I see a friendly, hard-working group that gets the food to the customers as quick as possible. I appreciate that.“

“I'm a regular since the prices can't be beat (especially if you use their membership). I do admit that the food is a gamble. 1/4 chance of amazing, 1/4 chance of pretty sad. You have to get good at looking at the buffet and telling which dishes came out right by look alone. Strawberry fanta on fountain, but don't go overboard!“

“Kudos To Myhanh V. She is always so welcoming and kind. When interacting with other employees, they don’t seem as approachable or as if they are annoyed, however Myhanh ALWAYS has great and positive energy, regardless of how customers act towards her. I hope the Panda Team sees how hard working she is, and hopefully they give her a raise. She is Manager Worthy!!“

“Service was so so, not excellent and not bad either. The portion is smaller compare to other panda locations for sure. However food is good and tasty. The only reason i took away a star is when I stand in front of an the register for couple mins and an employee saw me but choose to ignore me and keep doing the stuff she is doing until another coworker of hers come help me.“

“The staff was very welcoming and extremely friendly. From the moment I started my meal with Kim to the cash register with Theavy. The portion of my food was well served and felt like I paid a fair price! I also used my rewards which gifted me an appetizer that was selected and recommended by staff and well enjoyed.“

“Strangely enough Panda Express is now a good value option especially for how early they open compared to normal Chinese restaurants.

The bigger plate is a solid lunch and then some for some people, while their sides are really hit or miss, their entrées are usually on point.“

“This is a great place for fast food! Friendly service all the time. The food is great and the right temperature. The atmosphere could be a tad bit cleaner. The floors to be specific. I have never used the bathroom so I wouldn't know how clean it is. But this definitely does not stop me from going there. I love this place.“

“Great place to get fast Chinese food if you're a meat eater. If you're vegetarian like me, you have only 2 choices. Tofu with eggplant and or veggies. I hate eggplant and they won't do just tofu so I have to buy the mix dish and throw away the eggplant. I guess not enough vegetarians come to Panda Express.
