Best chicken pho in town. I had Thai cloud coffee. My new favorite, not too sweet, bold and the Thai foam is so addictive. My friend got grilled pork banh mi and five spice chicken rice bowl. Everything was delicious. Will be back soon
An amazing atmosphere. Best food, good price, and wonderful services. The owner, Vu, has many year experience in the restaurant business.

Phin & Bowl is a cool new spot for refreshingly good food and coffee/tea, conveniently opened in downtown San Jose right on the corner of San Carlos and Third St. This awesome family owned business has always provided exceptional service. They recently revamped the restaurant and menu, and the new Vietnamese food options taste great. During their soft opening, the updated food and drink menu had very reasonable prices. The fried chicken noodle soup and a Tropical Punch tea were both really good. The service was excellent, and the staff made the whole experience even better. This is a great spot for a group lunch, a family dinner, or just hanging out with friends.
It is a very cozy Mom and Pop place with a nice and clean seating area. They have free wifi, making it a nice area to study. The Soursop tea was a good blend of the fruit plus orange slices and jasmine tea. This restaurant serves the best Vietnamese food, and it feels like being a guest in their home. It is not a fancy place on the outside, but once walking through those doors, it is everything you want and more. The restaurant survived Covid and changed ownership, but kept the same style with a nice little facelift. There is more focus on banmie and boba/fruit drinks, while keeping the original decor and history. The restaurant has a nice modern ambiance like most boba places and cafes, but kept the original movie posters from before. This place makes THE BEST cheesesteaks and hoagies this side of San Jose. Ordering takeout is so easy, just call ahead of time.
