“Atmosphere? It's a drive through. If they had candles and potted ferns, it would just be strange. People are friendly, considerate of odd requests, and get our orders right 96% of the time. (Better than most.) Food good. Would drive through again.“

“This place is a little old and may have seen better days but do not let that stop you. This may be the hidden gem of San Jose. The service and the food are outstanding.
Seriously I have been in San Jose for a week and have eaten here four times. Each time the food is fantastic. I just keep coming back.
The tacos are… amazing…perfect…sublime. Is there a word that sums up literal perfection, if there is use it. It will describe these tacos. Yes it is jack in the box. I get it. Who cares, do yourself a favor and come get these tacos and remember your childhood.“
“I was there today, and it was busy, but Regina still did an excellent job in taking each order and greeting customers, and she was quite efficient. The tacos are the ones I go here to just 2 for me, and likewise with hubby. I love that they had digital ordering at the counter, and the food came out fast, fresh, and delicious. The 1-point deduction is due to minor cleanliness issues—highly recommended: friendly, fast service.“
“When i order using the app, I forget that the app doesn't change to your location.
Long story short, I spent the last of my money ordering food at a jack in the box 3.5 hours away. When i realized this, i hit my arm rest a few times. The young girl told me to calm down, which would have been fine, except the way she said it was snippy... i wasn't even talking to her...
I was so mad I was actually in the process of making some poor reviews about the experience, with her name and the shift time. But when I spoke with the manager she quickly put me to shame. I'm not so proud a man that I can't admit that. When, i explained to her what i was going to do and asked for the young lasy's name, She offered to make the meal at no additional cost. The thing was i was mostly mad at the app and the poor girl just sort of happened to light a match in my fumes. I think the manager understood that, and without any tone or hint of attitude she earnestly offered to solve the reason I was upset in the first place.
5*, no one is perfect on any team, but excellent management leads to excellent teamwork. Good leadership teaches the younger generation good skills.
Despite the events leading up to this, this has been my best best experience at a Jack In the Box yet.“

“We visit the Jack In the Box on Bernal Rd weekly. Food is tasty and breakfast is served anytime. The staff is easy to understand and always friendly. Mistakes are very rare, like napkins might be missing. They have also been very accommodating like offering a free item if they happen to run out of a menu item. We use the APP to save a lot of $$. Inside the restaurant is very clean and pleasant.
Parking: We eat here often and the parking is super easy. I LOVE their rose bushes! It's pleasant to eat in your car.
Kid-friendliness: The regular menu has plenty for kids and then there's a specific kids menu as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: Eating inside is easy and pleasant for people in wheelchairs. There are tables designed for wheelchairs.“
“Normally don't leave reviews for fast food chains but today they had a new item and had to.
I don't know if they'll keep it and at these prices but they had shrimp tacos as of February 2026.
Great value and taste for a fast food shrimp taco, would definitely get again as long as they keep it.“

4 tacos
4 sm fries
2 chicken sandwiches
4 hamburgers
It total $33 without coupon but after cupon it was $18.44.
That fed my family of 5. Comfy. Can't find a deal like that. It's been hot to hot to cook do this was affordable for us to do.
The burger was like a kid size but it was enough to feed us. My eldest ate very well and had leftover for the next day.“
“This jack in the box was goooooood one random night I went in there to get something and I get my usual spicy chicken sandwich and curly fries but usually when I go to hash in the box it's good don't get me wrong, but a few times when I go to other jack in the box the food tastes a little old or like it's been sitting out for awhile. Well thatnight I went the food tasted so freshly made and it was so good that night. Omg it was fresh and crispy everything from the curly fries to the samdwich, which is why I gave it 5 stars for food. The ONLY problem that surprised me was my stomach started hurting that night for a few hours after that being the only and last thing I ate before my tummy ache. But I want to keep going to this one whenever I do go because it was freshly made and tasted how they used to always taste. But other then that it was really good. Oh and I had to wait a little longer then usual when I was thr only person in the restaurant that night but the drive thru was really crowded.“
“First time I ordered a side order of rice. I didn't expect them to have side orders of rice and to be told it would have to be purchased as the chicken bowl and it's entirety, but I was pleased to be proven wrong. Got a small order of rice. The amount of rice given compared to the cost was very satisfactory, and let me just say,.... the rice,... was cooked extremely well! Whoever makes the rice there deserves a fricken raise because they were on point and made my late night dinner a content one. Thank you!“
“The man attending me at 5-6am was so sweet and attentive, I could tell it was busy by the amount of staff on board but he STILL made it happen, AND did it with friendly service + a smile. Will definitely be coming back to this location again!!“
“First time user of the app and after some glitches, was successful in placing my order for in person pickup.
Upon arrival at the counter, I was greeted and told then showed my order confirmation.
The counter person was quick to say, without throughly looking at what I was showing to her , that the special offer is only available on the app.
I said I know, I'm just showing you my confirmation to verify my order.
She went to retrieve my order, handed it to me and went back to doing her duties without any apology that she misunderstood or a thank you for making a purchase.“
“I do the drive in and it's give or take service and food taste. You never know i usually order the #6 Jumbo Jack some times it looks and taste like something you wish you can cook at home. Other times you can swear that's not a #6 it looks and taste like something you would by at one of those 5 for $1.50 or at mcdonald's, yes some times it's that bad and i just eat the fries and drink the soda. But over all the meal has been good for a burger.“
