“Food was good, fresh and hot. We dined in and it seemed to take a long time before our order was brought to the table. Hordes of delivery people waiting by the counter. Ketchup is in clever packages but were more difficult to open than it should be. A worker was doing a great job scrubbing tables, sweeping up. No problem getting a refill on drinks. It has a play place for kids!“

“I witnessed troubling behavior from a Genie Pool employee while waiting in the Chick-fil-A drive-thru in San Jose. Despite the staff working efficiently and professionally, this individual kept honking impatiently, clearly frustrated that things weren’t moving fast enough.

One of the employees—who I later learned was working on her birthday—was visibly shaken by the honking. She was trembling while trying to do her job, and it was hard to watch. That kind of aggressive behavior doesn’t just reflect poorly on the person—it reflects on the company they represent.

If this is how Genie Pool employees conduct themselves in public, I wouldn’t feel comfortable hiring them for any service. Professionalism and basic human decency matter.

“I had such a wonderful experience with Miss Ann at Chick-fil-A in the airport yesterday.

I ordered my meal along with a peach milkshake, but she quickly realized they were out of peaches. She kindly offered me a strawberry shake, then turned around again with the sweetest apology because they were out of that too. With such a warm and caring voice, she said, “I can make you a chocolate one.” Although chocolate isn’t my favorite, her genuine kindness made it impossible to be disappointed. We both laughed, and I happily agreed.

What impressed me the most was that Ms. Ann expressed that she was willing to go above and beyond to find something else she could use to make me a shake. She didn’t have to offer that, but she genuinely wanted to make sure I left happy. That level of care and dedication is what exceptional customer service looks like.
