“Hey, I found this place last night when I was staying at the Westin Marriott across the street. The Korean BBQ pork tacos and mac and cheese were awesome! The tacos had this amazing sauce that really highlighted the Korean flavors, but it wasn't too spicy. And the mac and cheese? Perfect amount of cheese.“

He also delivered a warm chocolate chip cookie with a small scoop of ice cream for my wife even though it wasn't in the menu. His ability to go above the call of duty and not just say no I can't get that for you was so amazing it had to make sure it is recognized. Exceptional service needs to be acknowledge and rewarded. “I quit drinking before the judge ordered me to—how is that for initiative? Since that last call, no bar has captured my attention. Nor have I returned to any of the bars I enjoyed around here. I’m from the east coast—a pub near a rail station which draws a crowd free of pretense is proper nurture. Glen Park Station is welcoming, comfortable, fun, and built for a night done right.

There are non-alcoholic brews for those who abstain, shot-and-a-beer specials for $12.00, wine by the glass, and an indoor smoking lounge. A pinball machine which takes dollar bills. Darts. Superior bar stools. Table seating up front. A rear patio. No Apple Pay.The bar has neighboring businesses which serve food. One can find Vietnamese, Thai, and Mexican fare within a block. The bodega sits across from BART, on the same side of Diamond St. A pizza place is in proximity. This area has a low-key dominance about it. A great spot for socializing, a walkable pocket of the city wherein small businesses sling good eats, and you have the option to get hammered.

Parking is available in the public library lot after 6, 7, 8PM during the week. Street parking on the northbound lane of Bosworth between Arlington & Diamond is free in the evenings. I am not sure when the meters stop accepting payment-I pulled up at 7:30PM on a Monday.

To those behind the wheel—be advised—residential streets intersect as sharp turns become sudden hills. At all hours there are pedestrians, cyclists, and coyotes. SFPD often posts a patrol vehicle on Bosworth (south of the Arlington intersection) to eyeball the I-280 south on-ramp.“

“On weekends they serve food and offer regular pool leagues for all levels. The regulars are friendly and open to talking to newcomers. If you’re from the area you need to go! They embrace locals and make you feel like you’ve always been there. Their shirts are great too and the smoking patio is a huge plus since it’s right out the backdoor. It’s a real SF institution with a ton of history and an even better staff of bartenders. Definitely one of my favorite spots to hang out in the city!“

“Good place. I'm always leery of bars with giant tvs, but they had cool classic rock on the sound system and the TVs were playing the game silently. So that was cool. I'd go back. Also they have some good beers on draft. The 805 is one of my favorites.“

“We had an incredible experience at wunderbar last night. Firstly, we didn’t have a reservation and despite being fully booked they accommodated us which was incredibly kind!

Next, enough good things can’t be said about this hidden whimsical speakeasy.. magical vibes, delicious concoctions and a cozy ambience, very creative menu both design, concept and combinations..

A cool thing about their menu is that they have a light/dark magic theme.. the light magic is the classic cocktail for example an Old fashion, the dark magic is Wunderbar’s take on the classic cocktail in this case it was Poison apple this month.. fabulous idea.. because sometime you just want your regular with a twist! They also have a nice selection of White magic Non alcoholic cocktails..

They were originally going to fit us in for just 20 mins but we ended up staying over an hour and had 4 cocktails. 1 was a special cocktail for the night which was a pandan flavored whiskey.. a tiki drink, the dreamcatcher and the poison apple.. highly recommend all four..

“Been in the area for work a few times in the last couple months. I found this place on my first trip out here and couldn’t have stumbled upon a better place. They don’t have a kitchen, but you can find some of the best food trucks parked outside the front door regularly. A great place to watch sports and hang out where the locals do. “Great local home town bar with ping pong, darts, and pool, they've got great live music and fun events like karaoke and open mic. It's also on the bus route, and a great place to watch the game, with great food places nearby. The Long Board is a fun and entertaining place to go.“

“The Korner Store is a private event space now. I sent an inquiry in for a Saturday night booking, and received prompt response with a quote and some options. There's a minimum food and drink amount. I coordinated a walk through of the space and made a deposit!

The hosts and owners (Ina and Nick) are incredibly helpful throughout the booking and night of the event. My ~40 guests enjoyed the Korean food and full bar. We had a fantastic time in the private space. The venue has tv screens, music inputs, DJ and dance area, karaoke, and an optional photobooth. I highly recommend considering The Korner Store for your next event.“

“I am from Detroit, and work in the bay area 2 weeks a month. I consider myself a dive bar aficionado. First visit here was in July, met George and a few regulars and fell in love immediately.
George treated me like I have been coming for years. Helped me find local spots to have great food and even helps me find Punk Rock shows to see when I am town. Chris's New Harbor is now my home away from Home.
Ask George to make you a Dolly Shot, they are Money 😀.

The kid loved the pizza. I thought it was ok. My favorites were the arugula salad with the perfect amount of a tangy sweet citrus dressing, the chicken bites were tender and juicy, and the burger was soooo good. It was a special so they may not have it regularly, but it was a good sized patty cooked just right. I switched my order to that, and I’m so glad I did. We had a bunch to take home for later. Service was great. The space is clean and cozy. We’ll be back for sure.“

“Stopped in to Newell's for a pre dinner drink. We just kind of stumbled on this place. How does one know where to get a good cocktail when you're an out of towner!?
Well let me tell you about Newell's.. The bartender was fabulous! She wasn't even sure what a certain drink was but she more than nailed it! It was right on! My Cadillac margarita was potent! I managed to wobble out of there to my next destination.. but barely! They do not serve food but our sweet bartender brought popcorn in order to save me embarrassment! It was a fun experience and I think I may have to return!“

“This place is basically a food court for the tech crowd. I like that they offer a wide variety of food, and ordering through the self-service tablet kiosks is quick and convenient. The portions are also quite generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry.
That said, don't expect it to be a place where you can linger for hours or let your kids run around and play. It's more of a grab-a-meal-and-go kind of spot.
We ordered the burgers and the pasta. The smash burger was the highlight—juicy, flavorful, and you could actually taste the wagyu in the beef. The fries were decent but nothing particularly memorable.
The pasta was a pleasant surprise. The sauce was rich and well-balanced, and the cheese was perfectly incorporated. Everything came together really well, making it one of the standout dishes of the meal.“

“we came here for a staycation last weekend and honestly the place is pretty solid for the price. the room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable which is really all i care about but the wifi was REALLY slow like couldn't even load a youtube video slow. the staff was super nice at check in and even let us check in early without a fuss which didnt expect, that was great. the parking lot was a bit of a mess though with cars EVERYWHERE but i think it was just a busy weekend. the only real thing i'd change is the breakfast, the coffee was grose and the pastries were stale so bring your own stuff. all in all a decent spot for a night or two, would stay again if i had to.“
