Pls make this a regular sweet green. I’ve been a long time customer of sweet green since eating there in West Hollywood over 10 years ago but cannot eat here bc of the automated salad making - the portions are not the same and the dressings are too light. I drive 10 min longer so I can eat at the San Mateo location.
This place should be really good for those diet conscious kind or person, healthy living person, vegetarian person because they serves fresh and organic ingredients in their food but if you are a kind or person that is a big water kind of person i don’t think this place will hit your pallet and you might find it not good or enticing. Based on reviews, sweetgreen is a restaurant serving healthy salads, wraps, and bowls. The interior is very nice, open, and casual. First-time visitors have been converted after ordering the crispy rice bowl with modifications like added kale, hummus, and spicy broccoli, finding it delicious, refreshing, and stacked super full. Another customer loves sweetgreen and is thrilled to have a new location in Burlingame. However, the chain struggles with dressing amounts; takeout orders can be super dry, like a Fish Taco bowl that lacked enough dressing, while asking for heavy dressing in person works better. Some find the salads not bad but not wowing, needing a lot of protein in the form of animal meat to feel satiated. A customized bowl with a kale cesar base, antibiotic-free miso glazed salmon, antibiotic-free grass-fed caramelized garlic steak, and antibiotic-free blackened chicken was super delicious, though prices are steep at about $17 for a basic bowl. It is a nice treat for sticking to eating "healthy."
