The Apron is a restaurant in San Francisco. It is a 2 minute walk from a hotel. The service is outstanding. The manager is kind, warm, and attentive. The hospitality makes your day better. She noticed someone struggling to figure out how to get to the nearest market. Without hesitation, she offered to drive them there so they would not have to pay for an Uber. The generosity is rare. The food is immaculate, fresh, well presented, and clearly made with care. There is outdoor seating with proper tables, perfect for enjoying coffee in the sun or people-watching. The whole space is spotless, clean and tidy from the counters to the restrooms. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished. The staff is great, tasty quick hot options for all kinds of diets including quick packaged to go options. Portions are light but good for portion control. The place is nice and relaxing to work. The staff is very professional. There is a variety of food. A latte and raspberry coffee cake are enjoyable. The Apron opened a couple weeks ago. It is a cute cafe in a gorgeous new building. There are daily changes to the lunch menu. The Kung Pao Chicken, rice and vegetables had a very generous portion size, especially the delicious chicken. A bagel and cream cheese was only $3.50. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, as was the Mango Lassi. The area needs more cafes and restaurants, especially ones with affordable items on the menu.
