I am so happy I found Amusante while browsing bakeries in San Mateo. I got a chiffon cake, yuzu, churro, and sweet potato financiers as well as a chocolate chiffon slice with cream. The chiffon cake was light and spongy. The financiers were buttery and had a slight chewiness. All were not too sweet and very delicious. I had no problems with ordering and pickup. Thank you!
The bread here is all so soft and delicious. You should definitely try the green tea bread—it’s truly the best! The scone was also moist and flavorful, and I was very satisfied.

The chiffon cake is light, spongy, soft, and fluffy, with just the right sweetness. The financiers are buttery, golden, moist inside with a crisp edge, and have a slight chewiness. The bread is soft and delicious, and the green tea bread is truly the best. The scone is moist and flavorful. Everything tastes freshly baked and made with care, not too sweet, and very delicious. Special sweetness that melts in the mouth. Ordering and pickup had no problems. Highly recommend.
