I've been looking for a delicious, authentic, Thai restaurant for years in San Mateo and finally found it in Thonglor, which I understand from our server recently reopened with new management. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and thoughtfully put together - including the boat noodles, khao soi, pad thai, and chicken wings. We'll be back soon to try the other dishes on the menu!

The Tom kha was flavourful, and the seafood pad see ew was very flavorful. The Thai curry and roti is insanely good, and the khao soi is incredible. The coconut rice was coconuty which was great. The restaurant's clean and naturally lit ambiance adds to the overall experience. Service was exemplary and orders arrived promptly. Despite a rating, Thonglor Thai Bistro continues to deliver reliable and delicious Thai cuisine, making it a go-to spot for those seeking flavorful and satisfying dishes.
