Chipotle Mexican Grill in San Mateo

“This is a typical Chipotle restaurant. Food was good and fresh. Restaurant seems to be well maintained and clean. Staff is nice and friendly. I recommend this location.

Parking lot is very busy, as there is bunch of other restaurants in the same building and it's colocated on the Home Depot parking lot - lots of cars getting in and out, parking is not easy.“

“I should have written this much sooner but this location is probably one of the top locations. Yes, there may be small mistakes here and there but this location is generally one of the best. If possible, I would only order from here if it’s in my power.

The ingredients are fresh and constantly restocked. The fajitas are great. Their meats are well cooked. Minimal charring and the steak is often done right, juicy with that light pink (all their meats are sou vide before it arrives to the store) so it does really come down to the grillers here to give it that finishing touch. The chicken is also cooked with the right amount of seasoning and holds their shape so it’s not in small crushed pieces. They keep their meats fresh and will get new one for you if they can.

The best part of this location truly lies within the great team. They have high standards for their food and every member I’ve encountered is friendly and professional. They can handle the peak times and work well together.

I really appreciate the staff at this location to deliver quality food and Chipotle a truly enjoyable experience every time.
