Simple restaurant, amazing food that tastes like home. Got the Achar Paneer, Chana, and Roti. Balance of spices and textures was perfect. Look forward to returning soon!
We ordered takeout and the service was amazing. The staff was friendly and energetic, giving us all the utensils and plates without needing to ask. The food was delicious and refreshing. Definitely would visit as many times as we could.
A handful of dishes are excellent, but I really dislike all (except tikka masala) their chicken curries because they cook it in-bone chicken thighs.. also the rice has too much anise seeds it takes over all flavors.
The prices are fair though and the portions are good, customer service is good as well hence the 4 stars.

Shah Restaurant is a simple restaurant with amazing food that tastes like home. The balance of spices and textures is perfect. The staff is friendly and energetic, providing all the utensils and plates without needing to ask. The food is delicious and refreshing. A handful of dishes are excellent, and the prices are fair with good portions. Customer service is good as well.
The place lives up to its hype, serving the best Pakistan/Indian food. It reminds many of their childhood in Karachi. The Tandoor combo, chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, and lots of naan exceed expectations. The naan and the lamb gosht are superlative. The chicken biryani can be a little oily and not that tasty. The service is basic but very kind. The restaurant is basic inside and a bit echoic, so it is a little hard to hear. It is a great place for lunch.
The food is amazing, genuine Pakistani + Punjabi food. The chicken seekh kabobs, Punjabi cholei, haleem, tandoori rotis + chicken seekh roll are all superb. It is a MUST go to place for good, genuine Pakistani cuisine. The service is wonderful and mighty friendly. The masala chai is FREE and complimentary.
