This Starbucks has the nicest staff. They often have wonderful energy and are so nice it could make you cry and save your difficult day - and their workload is intense! I would credit this place for keeping the nearby high school and district office running not only for its coffee and food but their absolutely wonderful employees.
Never on time, and always waiting 5+ minutes for my drink. The employees seem to be moving extremely slow, and slacking on reading the orders properly. Officially 10 mins past the online order time. Quite disappointing

This is a wonderful and well-loved Starbucks. It's on the corner of a block with two schools - San Mateo Adult and Career Education and San Mateo High School - plus the SMUHSD District Office plus Woodlake Condominiums - plus one block from an Elementary School. It's in the same shopping center as Safeway and CVS.If you hit it at a busy time - before and after school - yes, it will be busier and you may have to wait longer!It's a small but mighty Starbucks with a fantastic manager....read full review
