“We walked in on NYE without a reservation and they graciously found us a spot in the bar area. Service was on point and staff were festively dressed! I love a crafty cocktail but most are too sweet. I had the Smokey mezcal cocktail 🍹. Perfection. Appetizers were delish as well. Perfect way to start our NYE celebrations.“

“Yuca fries and mushroom skewer were delicious. Cauliflower entree was a big portion size but sikil pal was salty and somewhat bland. Pumpkin soup was fine but spicy due to the chili flakes on top. Mocktail was delicious and super refreshing, tasted like a green juice with celery. All vegan menu, was able to get full on all of the gluten free items.“

“This is a classic Italian restaurant with a lively atmosphere and excellent service. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. We ordered the classic pepperoni pizza, the classic cheese and bacon pizza, as well as the lasagna and carbonara. The pizzas were cooked to perfection, with a crispy and delicious crust. The pasta was cheesy and filling.“

“We waited about 25 minutes in line on a Wednesday evening and another 20 or so for the food, but in the end it was worth it.
The toasted carne asada burrito was outstanding, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t usually go for burritos. I really liked that it didn’t include rice. The meat was flavourful and everything tasted incredibly fresh.“

“If you make a reservation then you will be hosted in the dining area with fixed menu.
If you walk in, you can sit in the lounge and bar area which is a first come first serve basis. They also have some tables in this area.
Staff were super friendly and guided us with the menu.
My favorite dish was the famous burger which is only available in the lounge area.“

“Aziza is a total mood. The decor hits that perfect sweet spot of dark, soothing, and sophisticated. It’s the kind of atmosphere that lets you really focus on the food.
And speaking of the food: the dips are the undisputed stars here. Every single one we tried was packed with flavor and perfectly textured. While the flatbread is incredible on its own, its true purpose in life is clearly to serve as a vehicle for those dips.
The Shakshuka was another standout, beautifully presented with a sophisticated foam that really elevated the dish. We also tried the Cornbread, which was a delightful surprise. I expected a simple side, but it was unexpectedly sweet and completely hit the mark.
The waiting staff was nice and funny.
Any chance of a South Bay expansion?“

“Their food is some of the best I’ve had in quite some time. We stumbled upon this corner restaurant by accident and had zero regrets. Our favorites are the chicken and waffle burrito and their French toast. Their French toast is the best I’ve ever had, soft and flavorful. You must check this place out!“

“We arrived at 4:50pm on a rainy Sunday and waited ~45mins to get seated (group of 3). The restaurant’s capacity can accommodate 28 guests and they were very efficient with their process (i.e. they took note of group size in line, made sure people reviewed the menu before getting seated, and they had an one-hour limit). Our service was quick. We had both the signature and spicy versions of Tori Paitan, and spicy lamb ramen. Also an order of their seasonal Hokkaido uni and A5 wagyu hand roll. The broth of all 3 ramens was rich, full of umami. Spice added more to the flavor but almost non-existent on the heat front. Chashu was a great balance of fatty part and meat. The fried shaved carrots and eggplant in the lamb ramen were such a pleasant touch to the bowl of perfectly chewy ramen. The A5 wagyu was buttery and melted in your mouth good. Uni was just okay - I had higher expectations with Hokkaido uni. The sushi rice was a bit on the dry side as well. All being said, I’d still say this is a place I would return.“

“So a quaint and beautiful bakery. Had the chocolate almond croissant on sourdough bread. It was such a beautiful combination of sweet and sour flavors. The pastry was buttery and the chocolate filling was sweet, maybe little too sweet. The proprietor of the business is such a sweet man. He helped me picked out a good pastry and billed me up right away so that I don’t miss my train. Overall, loved the pastry and business.“

“Our foursome used to attend Zuni together regularly in the mid-late '90s. It's wonderful to see that Zuni has continued to exhibit the casual-chic serious-about-food but light-heartened ambiance that made it such a pleasure to since then. Unfortunately our long-planned revisit was seriously marred by the lax disinterest and frankly condescending attitude of our waiter, who shared his name as Martin. I had diligently made 12noon reservations for a Sunday that we 4 had a 2pm Ballet. I noted that in the reservation, requesting that we finish by 1:30. I arrived at 11:50, my former spouse at 11:55, and our long time friends at 12:10pm due to cab/rain delays. I ordered a French 75 upon my arrival (fresh lemon juice, but the champagne was flat). Everyone else ordered a beverage, and our main order was taken at 12:30pm: a shared Caesar, a burger, 2 orders of the scrambled eggs with crab, and the Sardines ordered for one of us as their entree. Nothing complicated. At 1pm, after lingering over the Caesar for 20 minutes, and all of us very hungry for our food, we asked if our food was on it's way. The waiter came over and rather than abologize for the 1/2 hour wait, told us he was aware of our ballet and our 30 minute leave time. Pretty dismissive, frankly. The burger and the sardines arrived at 1:10pm and were placed in front of the two men who ordered them. The remaining two women sat without their order for a full 41/2 minutes, finely able to eat their meals 45 minutes after ordering! They had exactly 10 minutes to wolf them down, ask for the check, pay the check. And leave. Apparently it never occured to "Martin" that guests might have thought, with a 90 minute lunch reservation, they would be able to actually enjoy the food they ordered, have a dessert and a coffee, and then leave. The food and wine itself (the cocktail being disappointing) was up to Zuni's high standards. If only we had had more than 15 minutes to enjoy it. An arrogant waiter can ruin it all.“

“First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! 🤩🍽️🔥
I ended up getting my lunch to-go because the place was packed when I arrived — always a great sign! 👏 I ordered the chicken adobo over rice and it was delicious. 🍗🍚 The chicken was tender and well-flavored. I personally could have used just a little more seasoning and maybe a touch of heat 🌶️, but I’m not sure if traditional chicken adobo is supposed to be spicy — either way it was still really good.
The rice was perfectly cooked, and the presentation was almost perfect. It probably got shuffled around a little during my walk back to the office 🚶🏽♂️, but it still looked great when I opened it.
The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. ✨ The person who took my order was very friendly, and the staff member who handed me my meal when it was ready was also super friendly and professional. Great customer service! 🙌
10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — I would’ve given it an 11 if I could! Definitely coming back to try more dishes, especially Silog Thursday (I may not be spelling or pronouncing that perfectly 😄 but I’m excited to try it!).
I stopped in today March 13 around 1:00 PM, and it was busy — especially considering they close at 2 PM. That tells you everything you need to know! 👏🔥

“If happiness were a restaurant, I’m pretty sure it would be called *That’s My Jam*. I came in expecting a nice meal and left questioning whether I should move a small bed into the corner and live there permanently.
First of all, the food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite felt like it was made by someone who genuinely cares about flavor, the quality of food they feed to others… and possibly about my emotional well-being. If you're lucky enough to chat with the chef or his wife, do so! You can tell they really put their heart and soul into every aspect of this establishment.
The vibe is warm, cozy, and the kind of place where you instantly relax. The staff were so friendly that by the end of the meal I felt like we were all part of a very delicious support group.
Final verdict: come hungry, bring friends, and prepare to fall in love with your meal. If you hear someone at the next table whispering “wow” between bites… that’s probably me again.
The only issue I have now is I doubt any other resturant will be able to provide my taste buds with the same magical expereince. I live in SJ but 10/10 would happily get jammed here anytime. 🍓✨
Not pictured is the chef special quiche - GET IT.“
