We love this place, it's our go-to when passing through HMB. The food is consistently delicious, the staff friendly and efficient. We often see families and groups of people eating together.
The chicken fajita burrito is fantastico! The chips and salsa are so yummy. We love to visit when we are in Half-moon bay. My daughter's favorite place.

I came to Half Moon whilst travelling for the FIFA World Cup.
I had the pork burrito one night and came back and had the fish tacos with rice the next night. Loved every bite. Probably going to go back before it closes tonight…

Taqueria Tres Amigos is a great Mexican restaurant in Half Moon Bay, a local favorite since 1985. They offer delicious specials, and the food is quick, tasty, and reasonably priced. Customers can enjoy self-service chips and salsas while waiting for their meal. The Steak Fajita Salad was served in a flour tortilla bowl with black beans, red bell pepper, red onions and Cotija cheese in a light vinaigrette dressing. Tres Amigos is great for dine in or take out. The horchata was well-priced, and the fish tacos were pretty good. The servings were large, with a lot of rice and beans. The service was pretty good, and the restaurant had a chill ambiance. The bathrooms were clean and there is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant. They deserve a tip for friendly service and great food.
