Rasa Rasa is a real gem for foodies. They serve authentic Indonesian flavors in a fun friendly setting in SF.
From Indonesian fried chicken to nasi tumpeng to beef rendang to gado gado, it's all delicious.
The owner and staff are also very friendly, both to grown ups and kids.

Rasa Rasa Kitchen was exactly the kind of meal I was hoping to find after moving to San Francisco from NYC, especially as someone with an Indonesian background who deeply misses home-cooked flavors. From the first bite, it felt comforting, vibrant, and utterly satisfying—just the kind of food that makes you pause and think about whether to save room for dessert or order one more savory dish.

New Indonesian restaurant at San Francisco. I think the business started as food Truck. I believe currently this is the only Indonesian restaurant at SF.
We came around lunch time and we were the first customer. The restaurant is not that large. It is like a family restaurant with open kitchen.
The are plenty item on the menu and we ordered the family style tumpeng tray and rica rica.
It took a while for the tumpeng to be ready as there are many items on the dishes.
