I mentioned to Gil that my only wish in this world was to go to the Super Bowl and to my absolute surprise, he bought me a ticket! I was stunned and so deeply moved. His kindness and generosity are truly rare and something I’ll never forget. The atmosphere at 840 Wine is warm and welcoming, the drinks are fantastic, and Gil’s heart is even bigger than the great wine selection. “Starbucks had a short lady who is rude today. Instead of handing my black coffee that was already brewed in to the cup, she acted busy trying make hot food and handing over to customer that came after me. Looked back at me waiting my hand and did not care - not sure if she is racist. Other garls when i asked about my coffee, they had to brew fresh coffee again!! Some good people. Lot of other fast food. Free parking on weekends..“

The place is beautiful, calming, and has such a great vibe with relaxing music. The staff were amazing: very kind, welcoming, and truly hospitable. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating; I personally love sitting outside, but since it was raining, I chose to sit inside and still had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend their kanafa and tea—they were incredibly delicious. This is a perfect spot to unwind, relax, and enjoy quality time. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“

“Rolled into town on a Wednesday, looking to book a late night party on the upcoming Saturday. Monica behind the bar grabbed the owner Malhi from next door. They were both super helpful and made it easy. Had a great time with good drinks. Even pumped our own music through their sound system. Nice looking place with chill vibe.“
