Starbucks in Redwood City

“I feel like I’m in Cheers whenever I walk in! Even if I’m in a bad mood I have to smile when everyone calls out “good morning” and is so sweet and friendly. My pups have never left without being offered a pup cup and Shayleen is so kind and seems like such a good leader, considering what a wonderful staff she’s put together.“

“Really love the team and atmosphere here, I often visit in the mornings to work and they’re some of the friendliest faces ever!! Special shout out to Valeria for the warm welcomes and writing the sweetest messages on every cup. The wifi works great, the store’s clean and there’s usually a table whenever I’m there before 7:30am

They do a great matcha and it’s customisable too - you can add extra matcha powder and adjust the milk and sugar level (I love it with 5 matcha powder, no sugar and with soy milk) :)

“Used to be my go to Starbucks when I lived in the area. Unfortunately had to dodge lots of homeless people around the place. Had a couple run-ins with people shouting or just straight tripping around the entrance and hanging out on the outdoor seating.“

“I visit this Starbucks only occasionally to meet some friends. It is wonderful. On only my third visit one of the baristas recognized me. All the staff are friendly, the store has sufficient staff to handle the orders so the wait time has been reasonable and the vibe is comfortable. Adequate parking and a variety of shops in a nice shopping center. Just a minute from 101 and worth the short detour. The food is standard Starbucks so the rating isn’t reflective of the store.“

“Went in for a quick beverage Thursday night, this was my first time at this specific location. The young lady that rung up my order I could just tell she was really sick, yet she still gave me excellent service. She was patient with me while I decided what I wanted. I didn’t catch her name, but she is curvy with reddish hair. Definitely will be coming back. 😊“

“I had a really good experience at Starbucks! The team was awesome—so patient while taking my order and super quick in preparing it. I went there to claim my birthday free drink, and they even wrote a note wishing me a happy birthday, which made my day extra special. Highly recommend this location!“

“Parking is tight at this busy corner. There are tables outside, often with dogs parked at them, and folks coming in are usually just wanting coffee and free wifi. The food selection is small, drinks are expensive to reasonable, and service at the counter is adequate.“

“This is one of the Starbucks that I've gone too, good service, respectful staff, and a basic Starbucks atmosphere. Will say that most Starbucks coffee tastes burnt and filled to the brim with sugar. There are better coffee places out there but Starbucks is usually consistent and tasty. Also may I just add how overpriced some things are... That alone took a whole star off the food section... Well I guess that's expected.“

Easy stop when I'm in Redwood City or heading through from the North Bay. Been coming here on and off for years, and it's a reliable Starbucks: drinks are consistent, staff moves quick even when busy, and the place feels updated with decent seating and a chill vibe inside.
I usually grab an iced shaken espresso or a macchiato which comes out tasting like it should, so no major issues with orders. Mobile order pickup is smooth most times, and they have the usual pastries/snacks if you need a quick bite.
Overall, dependable for a quick caffeine fix or to hang out a bit—nothing flashy, but it hits the spot when you need it. Still my go-to in this area.
