“Ok. If you're looking for fine dining, iDumplings is not for you, full stop. BUT if you're looking for a hole in a wall, great quality food, friendly staff, and located at downtown Redwood City, this place is for you. I need to come here more often. It's so yummy, they make the wrappers from scratch for the dumplings, the dishes are not overly greasy (which I like ALOT), and it's affordable. Give me a place like this any day. “It’a a Chinese restaurant with open kitchen that is pretty neat - by itself the place deserves a five star!
The dish is tasty and my favorite is the sauteed noodles or Chao Mian which has a great sensation coming from the wok’s high temperature induced Maillard reaction - it’s called Guo Qi 锅气.
Service is pretty good here - owner and staff are friendly and helpful.“

“Great selection of food, the house special pork pan fried bao is delicious -- one of the best outside of China. Love its tapas style, you can get a lot of smaller dishes to share and try a lot of different items! Service is outstanding!! Every server is so hospitable and you can tell they care about their customers.

We tried a lot of their items, would totally recommend the dumplings, XLB, wonton in chili oil, pan fried bao, skewers such as the ox tongue, salmon and chicken. Kids loved the porridge and ramen too. We got a bottle of sake, it comes with the coolest chilling/dispensing device -- it's an experience!“

“I am biased to be sure, but Yat Sing has been a neighborhood staple for years. I was saddened when the closed the Marsh Manor location during the pandemic and delighted to finally make my way across town to the Woodside Rd location.
