“Love having Papa Murphy's in my neighborhood. The staff typically have been super consistent with my orders and they always save the day with dinner for our family once every 2 weeks or so. Pro Tip: Convection Bake at 440 for 7 minutes and then, remove the baking tray and bake for 4 more minutes. Great value!“

“Beautifully decorated traditional Italian restaurant. Great light lunch with a simple Verandah Salads and an added grilled prawns. Portion of salads were unexpectedly big and the grilled prawns excellently cooked. Scampi e Pancrtta grilled prawn wrapped with pancetta great dish.“

“Luis Fernando was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, Luis and his entire team were incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The team was very professional when bringing the different meats to the table, presenting everything properly and making sure we never felt overlooked.

Luis was also a fantastic host and really helped make the night feel like more than just another dinner out. He was friendly, social, and made the experience feel like a true pastime with great conversation and energy. He also recommended some incredibly tasty dishes for us to try, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding. Luis, and the whole team made our night very memorable. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of from beginning to end.

“I was really impressed and honestly my expectations weren't that high walking in. The wine list had options you don't see everywhere and the bartender actually knew how to talk about each one. My friend ordered the burrata and I got the steak frites, both came out fast and cooked perfectly. I'm picky about steak and this one was genuinely good, juicy and seasoned well. The whole vibe was relaxed too, not pretentious like some places around here. We ended up staying way longer than we planned just because it felt so comfortable. I'll definitely be coming back and already told a few people they have to try it.“

“Flavourful, fast, and great vegan options! The beyond dosa and vada were so savoury and spiced, and the sambar is delicious. Food comes out incredibly fast although it's self-service and at the basement of a hotel so, you know, calibrate your vibes accordingly. Dosa was also a bit oily.“

The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. “I had a fantastic chicken sandwich at Danville Firewood Pizza today, and it was outstanding! The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It also came with a fresh, crisp salad that was a perfect complement to the meal.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. You can tell they care about the quality of their food and their customers’ experience.

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“Really solid dumpling spot in downtown Walnut Creek. Dumpling Hours has more of a casual, old-school local restaurant vibe, which I personally liked. It is not the kind of place that feels super fancy or overly polished, but that actually made it feel more authentic and comfortable to me.

The food was the best part. The xiao long bao were juicy and flavorful, and I really enjoyed the larger dumplings as well. They were filling without feeling too heavy, and they had that satisfying handmade dumpling texture. One dish that stood out more than I expected was the wood ear mushroom salad. It was fresh, light, and had a nice texture that balanced really well with the dumplings.

Service was pretty typical for a busy dim sum-style restaurant: straightforward, quick, and not overly chatty, but totally fine for the type of place it is. I actually don’t mind that when the food comes out hot and the meal moves smoothly.
