“We came across this place after watching movie in Richmond. They were having some program in their restaurant at that moment so there was not seating available but lady on front desk offered take out, And she also offered us chai on the house. We had veg chowmein and paneer chilly. And it was really good.“

“I love the food here. Anytime I go, there's never a lot of people in there and I usually order ahead and pick it up. The Salt and Pepper fish, Shrimp Chow Mein-Skinny and Honey Walnut prawns are what I usually order.

The area has changed a lot, Longs, the Dive Bar and Wheel works are all closed. Safeway is still there and CD is to the right of it.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

“We made our first visit to Ristorante Due Rose last evening (6/2/2023)--what a amazing dinner we had! I had the Linguine Tutto Mare (thin flat pasta with clams, squid, prawns, scallops and fish, seasoned with tomatoes, crushed red pepper, garlic and white wine.). I think the best Italian dish I have ever had (and I have been to Italy). The pasta was cooked to perfection--none of the flavorless stuff you might find elsewhere, and the sauce was out of this world. My husband had the Grigliata di Mare (Grilled scallops, prawns, calamari, parsley, lemon sauce, roasted potatoes and arugula salad) and also raved about it. Great service and reasonable prices. 💞We will definitely be back!“

But recently, the sushi, it's like I was playing Barbie meals with my date but at adult price. No other places I've been, served good sushi smaller than average.“

“Can't rly give atmosphere 5 stars because it's takeout only but the wife and I love this place! Banh mi is excellent, as are the bowls of whatever. I don't think there's anything the owner chef woman can't make well. She used to run 3 restaurants! Also she is an angel. Go there for the owner chef woman if nothing else. Also egg rolls and crab rangoon are yummy.

“This is my new go-to dim sum restaurant in the east bay! The dining room is spacious with tall ceilings, natural light, and simply elegant decor. All of my favorite dishes were on the menu and the hot, fresh food arrived quickly. The whole restaurant smelled delicious! “The nostalgia of walking into the legendary franchise😇☺️!! Had my SONS 2nd bday party here on Saturday. We had the MegaFun package & our host Kimberly was very helpful. She had to go around & help others as it was busy but overall fun experience.. My only critique is when Chucky Mascot came out, all the toddlers, lil ones & MY SON as well was completely blocked out I felt soo bad couldnt even get to him because the older kids bombarded him. I had to pick my lil man up so he can see.. I was lowkey pissed but I know they were excited. Maybe enforce short to tall so everyone can see him.. He also came by our table to sing the birthday song at our table for him so that kind of made up for it✨️🎉‼️.“

“I ordered 22 individual meals for a company lunch. The food was prepared, boxed, and ready to go in less than an hour. They made sure to write who's food belonged to which employee on their boxes, and went over my checklist with me more than once to make sure nothing had been missed.

My staff loved the food and I received many comments about how good it was. I would rate this business higher than a 5 if I could.

That's a plus you won't have to take out a loan to get good healthy food.There are some benches out sde if you can't wait to get home. It is popular with locals and those in the know. Food is displayed to see sells quickly so it always fresh . Never dried out from sitting at a steam table. Some nights a hour before closing at 8pm they maybe sold out of pork fried rice or barbecue pork loin or sweet and sour pork with vegetable The sauce is not too sweet not too sour. It's like Goldilock's porridge at the home of the three bears just right. Portions are big I can barely finish a pork fried rice with a sweet and sour pork entree. $12.50 includes tax.
The Chef takes pride in making good tasting food a simple menu with something for almost everyone. Yes I am a big fan of Chinese style cooking. Sometimes a simple dish made with care is just as good as a fancy complex food at 3 times the price. Highly recommend for the days you are just too tired to cook or just because you want to to enjoy their food. I only like to post positive reviews of well made foods.

Hot and Sour Soup is a good starter, but I prefer a bit more heat. The fried appetizer sampler is something I would skip. The BBQ Pork Chow Fun was full of flavor and the Salty Fish Fried Rice was fragrant. The clay pot was a miss. I was hoping they would actually cook the food in the clay pot for that taste, but it appears the food was cooked and served in a clay pot. The Iron Platter was just what you expect, burning hot served.“
