“Ate here for the first time and loved it! Everything was excellent quality. My husband and I split the seasonal salad (greens, feta, sweet potato, avocado, tangerine, radish, and pumpkin seeds with avocado lime dressing) The veggies were fresh and perky and I loved the combination of flavors. I got the chalet burger which featured a perfectly cooked, thick beef patty, toasted and floofy gluten-free bun, arugula, mushrooms, swiss cheese, tomato, and I added housemade pickles. My husband got the seasonal burger which was also delicious. Then soft serve with olive oil and flaky salt. Appreciate the grass-fed beef and all the seasonal specials. Will definitely be back!“

“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

“We got it delivered through DoorDash. Unfortunately my burger was missing the cheese but it was still very good. Bun was a little thick but I think that’s the case in most places now. The fries were really crunchy and flavorful. My wife enjoyed her jr cheeseburger. Overall definitely a nice meal and I would order again.“

“Came on a Wednesday and got an enormous delicious beef brisket plate for $22. Probably the best deal I’ve seen in North Beach. The hamburgers look pretty awesome too although I have not tried one yet. My friend got a chicken pesto sandwich which was less exceptionable but not bad.

Definitely worth coming back!

One note: sitting at the back is pretty loud, sounds like there’s a club or something on the other side of the wall so it was hard to hear my friend talking, but that’s probably not an an issue if you come earlier or don’t sit in the very back.“

The inside has four two tops for seating, but the park across the street is available with tables if needed. It's a cozy place.“

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

“If I had to compare their burgers to something, it’d be a certain shack with shakes. Pricing is on par, considering that Tasty’s patties are larger than said shack, and this is a local place that doesn’t have the benefit of scale.

The Royal burger is fire. Literally melts in your mouth. Cooked perfectly without a hint of dryness. I wouldn’t expect super duper to exercise as much quality control with twice the staffing. The beef tallow fries needed a hint more salt, but you can control that yourself. Otherwise, the fries were hella good.

When I went on a Sunday afternoon, this Labor Day weekend, it looked like they had three people running the show. But they were churning out orders, and mine was perfectly made. They just opened in August, so temper your expectations and wipe down your own table. God forbid they can’t clean every table after three tourist families of five roll through 🙄. Saw a lot of people asking for accommodations and it sounded like they did their best to fulfill.

Downtown Sausalito on a holiday weekend is basically a pressure cooker for any restaurant, and they handled it expertly given their resources. Let them cook!“

The meat was just right, sizzling, crispy and somehow also juicy, and the generous grilled onions, melted American cheese, pickles, etc toppings tied the whole thing together. “This was the perfect late-night stop during my first trip to San Francisco! The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the incredible service. One employee was taking orders, running the register, and making burgers all at the same time—and somehow still managed to be friendly and efficient. Huge kudos to him for keeping everything running so smoothly!

“Was REALLY disappointed to discover Sliders had removed the self-serve bar, but I understand the difficulty of maintaining something like that, especially during the COVID era. For YEARS I used to get a double patty chili cheeseburger with fries. At the condiment bar I would add mushrooms, olives, onions and mayo. Now, no more condiment bar, or custom chili burgers, but its still a great San Francisco lunch spot. Definitely recommend.
Edit: Recently tried their Philly cheesesteak...it is the ONLY cheesesteak sandwich I can eat without adding condiments. No mayonnaise, no anything: just the seasoned meat, cheese and bun -- its perfect as is. Well done!“

“I was here for the second time this morning and I absolutely loved it once again. The food is fresh and tasty, the place has a really nice vibe to it, the weekday breakfast special is great value and they are very accommodating. Best part must be the waitress working there, tho. Forgot her name sadly but she was there both times I went and she's genuinely friendly and not over the top at all. It's so refreshing to actually get good service and not have it feel like a show!

They have a variety of drink selections and a decent food menu options, including some vegetarian-friendly dishes. Service was 10/10! The girl who was helping us was friendly and patient with my friend, when she was struggling because of her English. All of us had a great time here. Inner Richmond is not the most difficult neighborhood to find parking for in the city, but it can still be a hit or miss. Recommend people to just Lyft/Uber/Waymo.“

“I’ve been coming to this location since the day they opened in our neighborhood. They offer a great variety of food, from wraps and burgers to salads and other menu items, and I’ve tried most of them over the years. The food is consistently very good, which is probably why they’ve become so popular and busy every day, especially on Fridays.

Unfortunately, it seems like order management has become an issue as their popularity has grown. I placed two orders over the last two weeks through DoorDash. The app estimated a 10-minute wait, and since the restaurant is only about four minutes from my house, I walked over to pick it up. However, both times I ended up waiting 40–45 minutes for my food.

Today was especially frustrating. Even though DoorDash said the order would be ready in 10 minutes, it actually took 40 minutes, causing me to miss the first part of my work meeting. While I was waiting, I noticed people who arrived after me and ordered at the kiosk received their food before I did, even though I had placed my order through the app 40 minutes earlier.

This was really disappointing and unexpected. I hope the restaurant recognizes this issue and improves the way they handle online and pickup orders moving forward.“
