Huge portions, great selections of burgers, salads, sandwiches and drinks. Staff was fantastic, the food was fresh and the ranch was made in-house. It was our first time there while visiting Berkeley, I'll def come back. The prices were slightly high when I looked at the menu, but you absolutely get your money's worth.
Did you know they have a wonderful brunch?!? Fresh baguette, shakshuka, great egg dishes, pancakes, all the good stuff.

Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers is a chill burger spot located just outside of downtown Berkeley. The restaurant offers solid, handmade burgers with plenty of options, including the sizable and delicious Gastro Pub burger. Burgers are cooked to order with very good quality beef and are pretty delicious. Fries, onion rings, and other sides are ordered separately. The curly fries are a standout. The kids' menu is simple and kid-friendly, making it a great spot for families. With good options, quick and friendly service, and fresh food, Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers is a popular spot among locals and students. The restaurant is clean and well maintained with indoor and outdoor seating areas that can accommodate guests with dogs on the patio.
