What really makes this place special is Sam. He’s the kind of person who remembers your face and name, your usual order, and makes you feel like more than just a customer. Honestly, at this point, I’m convinced he should just run for mayor of Richmond.

I haven’t really tried much else on the menu but my friend got the wings and really enjoyed those as well, I did get to try the steak fries which I would definitely say to avoid they are pretty soggy and the cheese sauce isn’t very good, but I’ll continue coming back here and recommending it because it’s hard to find an actually good burger around here! Plus it’s a great area to go with friends cause there is tons of food options and also bars to hangout at! Just be ready cause it can get pretty busy over here on the weekends!“

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. The best part is they don't skimp on toppings and follow the company's guidelines for a great sandwich. This business has been around for years as I am now 31. Very much a staple in the Oakland Bay area community. “I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“

“My family and I have been going to El Sol since 1984. The food is excellent, reasonable, large selection, quantity and the staff are so friendly, it’s like one big family. Their enchilada sauce is my favorite!“

“I have heard about this restaurant from friends so I went to try it, it is a sit-eat-and-go place I have tried the Persian burger and it taste good it looks like a kafta kabab taste. As a Lebanese and food lover I was impressed with the hummus the taste was good but the Tabboule didn’t meet my expectations because you shouldn’t have cucumber and lettuce as also it needs more lemon juice.

“This location is the best pizza service in Oakland. I used to do Domino’s but their app switched me to a location south of the lake which doesn’t abide by corporate policy to leave the order at the door if indicated by the customer in the app. Whereas this location abides by corporate policy and indeed follows customers’ instructions if they want their orders left at their doors. And the food is 1000% better too. For the same price you get twice as much food as Domino’s and it’s not loaded with salt.“
