Was on business in the area and stopped by here for a Spicy Cheesesteak and Garlic Curly Fries.

Took away a truffle cheesesteak. Really satisfying with a cold beer.
Great tasting philly cheeseteak sandwiches with big portions, and lots of meat and cheese!

Based on the reviews, IB's is a low-key spot serving solid, comforting food done right. The customer service is always A1, with staff who are friendly and go above and beyond. The establishment is always clean. The food is always hot, fresh, seasoned to perfection, and hella good. Menu highlights include the Surf N Turf cheesesteak, which is FIRE, and the chopped cheese with extra garlic. The garlic honey wings combo seriously hits every single time. The garlic fries are also a favorite. A bit on the pricey side but overall very tasty. The one downside is no seating, but there are plenty of places to sit down nearby in Berkeley. All orders are to-go.
