I thought the flavors of both were exactly what I’d expect. Management and staff were professional and cooks definitely chef’d up!

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. I just had the chicken schwarma bowl and it was soooo good. Tasted just like a home cooked meal. Highly recommend“

“So I’ve never been a fan of tteokbokki, I’ve tried making myself to like it but never was able to. I tried their Rose tteokbokki and it slapped so good, it was so freaking cheesy and so meaty. It took me from not being a fan to making this my weekly fatty Friday day. Their Korean hot dogs are really good too, last time I came here I ordered both and ate it inside by the window and a guy outside just kept staring at me with disgust while I was devouring my food, I kept trying to hide behind the window poster and was kind of successful.“

“Bongo Burger is still the best burger in the Bay.

What makes it so good is the style. It’s not a massive, overloaded burger… it’s light (but filling), balanced, and somehow they manage to make a thin patty that’s still cooked medium-rare, juicy, and perfectly pink in the center. That’s surprisingly hard to find.

The grilled onions have are so good on the burger, really make it a signature. Add fresh chopped lettuce, ripe tomato, and the classic Bongo Burger bun, and it’s just a perfect combo. Also the use of two different color cheeses really makes it visually appetizing.

The fries are equally impressive. They’re crispy on the outside but somehow stay soft, fluffy, and full of actual potato on the inside instead of drying out.

The cooks are talented clearly.

On top of all that, the prices are incredibly reasonable, the staff is always friendly, and the vibe feels like old Berkeley in the best possible way.

The Euclid location is my favorite. I grew up eating there in the ‘90s, and I’m amazed that the quality is still just as good today. Places like this are rare. I hope Bongo Burger is around forever.“

“I just now picked up a fish sandwich that was the best I’ve had from any Burger King. The bread was good, the fish didn’t taste like old oil. They put it together with care and spread the sauce and veggies evenly. Thank you for making a fast food experience feel like quality and done with care.“
