“What an amazing experience, the cocktails are a great start, the garlic shrimp app was perfectly cooked, get extra bread you are likely going to want to soak up all of the broth. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and the venue is amazing right on the water. The service is top notch, thank you Gladys for a great experience.“
“We had the best evening at Dita's! We were warmly welcomed by the lovely owner! The restaurant is modern and chic, the view is the best in the Bay Area, and the entire ambience is joyful and uplifting. We had delicious food : the ceviche was amazing .. little gems salad ... so many delicious choices on the menu ..it will be a place to return to to try others .. and then the music by Freddy Clark was beyond fabulous! This place is a new favorite!!!“
“We came here because they specifically called out good breakfast but did not find that to be the case. Prepackaged, very expensive burritos and a very bland quiche were what we found.Coffee and matcha was great, atmosphere was great. Just really not a place to get food, too.“
“I LOVE Saylor's for yummy carnitas tacos, the perfectly made, thin chips and great salsa. The staff is all very nice. I think it's fun to sit in the tiny bar area, but the main restaurant is also nice when you want a calmer eating environment. Cheers!“
“We had a great time grabbing some drinks here before dinner. It started as a quiet bar experience, but then our bartender struck up a great conversation with us which really helped us feel more at home while we were so far away from home. I'd definitely go again!P.S. they don't serve food. Not sure if you can bring food in.“
“Travis Marina Bar is located on Horseshoe Bay in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It in has live music weekends. There's a dance floor and a full bar with friendly bartenders. The views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Horseshoe Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco are unsurpassed. Highly recommended.“
“Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.“
“finished a hike nearby, close to mount tam. Prices are fair for being in Sausalito. We were greeted by Jacob, who was very nice and polite. started off with a Caesar salad took me and my guest two minutes to finish it off. generous portion. Pizza came out subsequently. Biggest compliment you can give a chef is finishing it in five minutes. everything was great about our experience, the weather, food and service. please support.“
“I am a local wine tour guide and very familiar with the caliber of wines AND the off-the-charts expertise wine knowledge of the staff at Bacchus and Venus. (If you're extra lucky Eva will be serving you :) Was recently reminded of the gem that this place is when I popped by. Minutes from San Francisco, but carrying those legendary and desirable wines from the famous wine regions several hours drive from here. Sonoma, Napa, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara- all in here in this gorgeous wine room. (If you don't have the time to go there, go HERE.) I have also seen how well they take care of those who may not consider themselves major connoisseurs, but simply have the requisite curiosity. Those folks seem to leave with a smile- likely not just because the wines taste so good- I suspect also due to feeling a bit further enlightened in the finer things...“
“The food, the flavors, the owners, the authenticity… so much to rave about. A true treasure.Vegetarian options: Anything you could ever want!Dietary restrictions: They make everything from scratch!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly for sure!“
“This garage in Sausalito is an incredible place, the whole team and Bruno the boss will take you on a journey to the best neighborhood bar in France. Just passing through for an evening I enjoyed a unique moment around the pleasure of eating and drinking France in the broad sense. Thank you for keeping this kind of place alive which clearly deserves to take a break!“
“This review is essentially a 3.5/5, but i rounded up. It is based on ordering one cortado to go. The espresso is the only thing keeping it from being a 3.Milk steam quality, 3/5. The temperature was a bit on the warm side but not overly hot. The milk was just slightly too thin. Even for a cortado I like a bit more air in the milk, not to the consistency of a cappuccino, but the cortado shouldn't taste slippery.Espresso quality, 5/5. I'm not sure what is in their espresso blend, but it stands up to milk really well. It's malty and nutty, but not overly roasted.Ambiance, 3/5. Just average. Trying to be both a deli/sandwich shop and a coffee shop. It's not a place I necessarily would want to come camp out and work in for too long, but it could be a decent spot for lunch. However, there's a lot of people always mulling about, waiting for to go drinks, etc., so it feels busy.Service, 3/5. Neither overly hospitable or hostile. Just average.“
“Best ice cream in Sausalito IMHO. I’ve been here about five times and I always look forward to it. Any of the coffee flavored ice creams are great, but my personal favorite is the Oregon Cherry one. Expect Sausalito prices, but worth it. Great when you’re waiting for the ferry!“
“The perfect seafood spot. Classic dishes plus unique items and creative specials daily. Staff is always friendly. Have had 8 different dishes here and all were top notch. Atmosphere is perfect for a seafood spot. Fish Rueben will make you never want corned beef again.“
“Outstanding food, authentically Italian, incredibly fresh ingredients. My little gems salad with anchovy was one of the very best salads I’ve had. All our dishes were excellent. Portions were large, flavors popped and presentation was attractive. Only negative was that the server seemed to have too many tables, as we had a very long wait between menu presentation and ordering. Overall, this was as good as expected, and I definitely recommend. Poggio has been a top restaurant for many years, and the praise seems deserved.“
“The fried calamari was soft and delicious. The sauce served with it was not too salty. Highly recommended.Carbonara was delicious, but it was not a typical taste, but a unique style that I had tried for the first time. Recommended.Punggi Pizza was pan-style pizza, not oven-style, and it was thick and the portion size was average. They came and checked between meals, and when I asked a question to a staff member who had some difficulty communicating in English, another server came to check again. It was nice to be able to have a quiet meal even though it was a weekend lunch.Kid-friendliness: There is a baby chair“
“With patio and outdoor seating, this taqueria is a short bike ride or walk from the ferry. The service was excellent, friendly waitstaff bilingual in Spanish and English. We got the three taco special and the shrimp quesadilla. Both of us loved the quesadilla and my friend preferred the carne asada tacos whereas I like the Baja tacos best. They bring out a little sauce platter with crema too which is nice. Without the salsa the tacos were not heavily seasoned but the salsa was good and spicy. Between the two of us it was about $25/person plus tip, so this is definitely more of a sit down and have a pleasant meal kind of taco shop with a Sausalito vibe. They had a chile relleno special with crab meat but it was $38 so I held back. I would come back and try more seafood items.“
“Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine. They also have live music (on select nights). We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great. Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious. All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back.Service was excellent as well.“
“Amazing fresh food, service was amazing. There’s always seem to be more than one waiter helping tables which I find very helpful and satisfying to keep the place ruining at a fast pace. Friendly bartender Paul, greeted us with good energy, we got pretty drunk at the bar but he was constantly giving us water, and asking if everything was okay. Made us feel like at home. Usually places get mad for us being loud, (which is not on purpuso) we get carried by the good times, but the energy here was out the roof, very welcoming. We’re coming back again with my fiancé, we had a great time!!!Please give your staff a round of applause. Very well deserved. 10/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten free foodParking: Street parking is available with meter.“
“This is a must go for any Thai food enthusiasts. The food is delicious, and the little restaurant has a cozy ambiance which adds to the charm of the experience. Easily some of the best, most rounded, and expressive flavors of the Thai restaurants I've been to in the Bay Area. I strongly recommend!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian curries, rice dishes, noodles dishes were all amazing.“
“We had a great experience here for lunch! We were looking for clam chowder and asked a local shopkeeper for a recommendation. Seafood Peddler it is! They were able to seat us immediately in the little alcove on the second floor with a lovely view of the harbor. We had their lunch bowl of clam chowder, lobster bisque, and a few lobster rolls around our table. We really enjoyed the soups, and the sandwiches were stacked with lobster. Fries were great! Prices for the rolls were a bit steep, but to be expected. Our service was good - I loved how they pour the soup into the bowl at your table so it stays hot. Food came out crazy fast, which made for more time to explore!“
“Live salsa band on Sunday is amazing. And the people who enjoy it like me are also amazing. Friendly crowd. Small dance floor, gets hot, two single-person unisex bathrooms from lines when it gets crowded. The owner seems a little salty, but the staff is very friendly, although sometimes they forget about you because they're so busy.“
“The pizza crust was super crisp and chewy at the same time. We came on a rainy day and enjoyed a seat inside with a view of the bocce court and outdoor area. The music and decor outside the restaurant so close to the water must be a blast in the summer. I’ve never had a raw artichoke salad but mixed in the fennel it seemed like a close cousin. (Fresh and astringent) A pizza + salad made for a good size lunch combo for a couple. The service was friendly.“
“Scomas was closed on Tuesday so we stopped here for an early dinner. My wife had the Clam Chowder bowl with a side of Caesar salad. I had the Combo crab and shrimp Louie salad. Both were good. The Chowder bowl could have been a bit larger though. Ambience is wonderful with views of the bay and service was very good. If you can, ask for a window seat if they're available!“
“Marcelo was an amazing server and staff, as well as all the other staffs that brought out meat, refilled our drinks, and clear our table. We were here to celebrate our anniversary and wouldn't have done it at a better spot than this. The meat had a great selection to choose from.“
