“Absolutely some of the best food I’ve ever had! True california/mexican food. Very healthy, affordable, fresh ingredients, incredible recipes. I would eat here every week if I lived nearby. We had the salad, sweet potato quesadilla, cauliflower tacos, agua fresca and flan. There was homemade hot sauce and homemade tortillas. Every dish was SO GOOD. I can’t wait to eat here again!“
“Time and time again…. Over several years… we have always appreciated the amazing servers and incredible food. The specials are just that…. Special …. And should always be considered. This is our “go to” restaurant for a night out. Thank youKid-friendliness: People friendly….. which is even better than kid friendly“
“Fun, great food, European type of service, and a really fun atmosphere. Love the French Onion soup on a cold night. Only complaint, their baguette is quite expensive, though absolutely delicious and served with really great butter. Wine is priced in line with most restaurants in Marin, so not ordering a lot of wine during our visits.Would highly recommend Amélie.“
“Ordered the shrimp po' boy sandwich. There was a big pile of fried shrimp and French fries. The sandwich was excellent, delicious fried shrimp, zesty pickles, and tasty remoulade sauce. French fries were cooked perfectly, served nice and hot. The ice tea did not taste good at all, traded it in for a cup of hot tea. They leave the front door wide open, which makes it rather cold inside. Service was good. The real star here is the food. A little bit on the pricey side, but you get your money's worth. I recommend The Hummingbird Cafe“
“I love coming here because it’s spacious, they have friendly service, good baristas, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Mario, who has been working here for 11 years, is a staple of the cafe. I love supporting the business and visit weekly.“
“Purchased a Specialized Kenevo about 3 months ago from Splitrock. This is my 4th emtb. Jason, the owner, and his staff did an excellent job in dialing in the bike to my exact preferences. This was definitely the best emtb purchasing experience I’ve ever had by miles!! The staff was happy to go above and beyond in dialing the bike to my exact specs and expeditiously upgraded the forks as I waited in the great shop and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Splitrock restaurant. On getting the bike, I was able to immediately test ride it on some great trails (classic Marin trails) a short riding distance from the shop. After the maiden run, I enjoyed a cold brew at the Splitrock tap room with some local riders who were as stoked as I was after their trail rides!! Great and rare combination of mtb shop, restaurant, tap room and friendly post ride scene!! I hope to be back soon and feel so fortunate to have the experience I did at Splitrock Tap and Wheel!???♂️?“
“We had a great time here. It was a busy Saturday evening. We didn’t make reservations so we were glad to get standing room near the bar. We had heard the cocktails are great and they are. We started with the Alpine Sour and a non-alcoholic drink. Absolutely delicious. The bar tender Manny was excellent. Manny also made us a fantastic paper plane (not on the menu) and another cocktail.“
“This is a cute little shop right by all the downtown shops. The portions of the bowls are generous and we really liked the islander bowl. The honey is local and raw and super good! The granola is super good as well!I would definetly recommend after a nearby hike or bike ride!“
“I simply don’t think there is a better spot in Marin, that checks all these boxes: beer garden, iconic burgers, full beer tap with local/local-ish options from Lagers to Hazy IPAs and always a Nitro on rotation, live music on weekends and convenient parking (for both cars ? and bikes ?)…Vegetarian options: You have to try the salads, the garlic broccoli and the baked beans… although their tater tots and fries are my favorite!! Go all in with the Totchos — epic!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, multiple vegetarian dishes…Parking: Most convenient parking in town. Just perfect.Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to have a great time here! You can spot them coloring and enjoying some of the games that they have available for kids and families. They also enjoy seeing the live musicians on weekends!Wheelchair accessibility: Both the outdoor and indoor spaces are wheelchair accessible.“
“food: had the hot pastrami, it was spot on. simple, solid ratio of meat to cheese to bread.ambiance & staff: clean, friendly, promptmisc: price is on point, reasonably priced for a reasonable portion.what to improve: needs wifi and to be open past 5 pm. even 6 would mean you could grab a sandwich for dinner after picking kids up from school.“
“Incredible food and flavor. Very accommodating forwards GF diet and good service. We save this place for more special events because it's pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. The restaurant is a vibe not too loud it has a nice slightly casual elegance and a clean restroom. The beef tataki is a must order it's our favorite thing one the menu and when I go everyone orders their own beef tataki appetizer. Salmon sashimi melts in you mouth and anything they make scallops is delicious.“
