“Came for a burger at the recommendation of the Marin Burger Club. The burger is somewhat forgettable, not having much in the way of flavor. Writing this review less than two weeks after having it, little sticks out. Most notable is the bun, which had an oddly firm crust that I found off-putting. The fries were enjoyable, service good, and restaurant itself well laid out. But as for the burger...it's a slightly nicer version of Gott's burger. Good, not great.”

“We hadn’t been here since they first opened and were still finding their footing. Finally made it back for dinner and WOW do I regret waiting so long. The menu is fabulous. The dishes were seasonal, generous and outstanding. This place is a gem and true Italian. Lucky Fairfax. We’ll be back more often!”

“Really good food - we got the Korean fried chicken banh mi, which had a nice sweet heat to it. And the curry tofu was also nice and crispy. My sister literally was drinking the salad dressing. Also they were very nice, making us a half veggie and half chicken banh mi.”

Great blends from Napa Valley , as good as any expensive vineyard , the owner blends and creates them for years, STRONG WINE, UNBELIEVABLE TASTE! The food is amazing, I’m a New Yorker and loved it ! The gluten free pasta was done to perfection! Wished I lived closer…we would be there every week! The ambiance and staff were inviting , and the owner is a vibe unto himself! “I'm biased. My nephew's girlfriend is the manager here so I know the place is terrific😄 that being said, the duck fat secret herb seasoned fries are to die for. The rotating menu offered a killer Baja fish taco which was fabulous. I lived on the beach in Baja for 2 years so I know my tacos😋 The cocktails are professional. They have a great Happy Hour for food too! Good background music but not too loud for conversation.”

“I love the genuine service and the system they implement to try and give customers fast service without sacrificing quality. I love to order a Caramel Macchiato (not on the menu but they can make similar) with extra toasted blueberry bagels and cream cheese :)”

“love love love it here! my mom and I stayed in fairfax for a whole week and we ate here several times. food is amazing, atmosphere is amazing, staff is amazing. special shout out to our main man Ty who remembered us by name and was always super fun and friendly every time we came in. he may even play you a few songs on his guitar if you’re lucky. this place was definitely a highlight of our trip and i’ll miss going there when we leave. we could also tell that this place is a huge hit with the locals which is always nice to see. thanks for all of the great food, drinks, conversations, and songs Barefoot Cafe! until next time! -Ebony”

“I'm old. I've been eating at M&Gs since the late fifties. Back in the day I savored a barbecue beef sandwich. That's no longer on the menu, my new go-to is the chili burger.
I'm so happy munching the burger sipping a lemonade marvelling at all the traffic and observing the bikers across the street drinking beer next to their mountain bikes that could pay three months of my rent. Blimey!”

“Went on a Sunday morning and even though it was busy I got through the line quickly and my drink was ready in just a few minutes. I got a black and white mocha and thought it was very sweet but in a good way. It can feel a bit cramped inside but there is plenary of outdoor seating.”
