“The very best in Marin, the first sushi restaurant we look forward to coming back. Great atmosphere and amazing dishes, as fresh as if we’re in Japan. And love the attentive and friendly service. We will be back!!!”

“I clicked liked it although I am still looking forward to trying the place. I had to click stars in order to post this comment, which I wanted to post in advance in hopes that the restaurant might become more of a real Jewish Deli than the sandwich photos show. The pictures show the sandwiches to be super skimpy, nothing like an authe tic Jewish deli makes sandwiches with the thinly sliced meat layered high and thick. For decades the San Francisco Bay Area has gotten away withcalling mere sandwich shops Jewish delis, You're not really serving this sad little Skippy sandwiches with 2 to 3 slices of layers of meat instead of many layers of delicious slices of meat piled high. Not since the Union Deli on Union Street in San Francisco closed decades ago has San Francisco had a truly excellent deli. In any case I look forward to trying this one, although with low expectations due to the photos.”

“Creekside offers a great assortment of beers, wine. tasty pizza and other comfort foods, healthy salads all served by the friendliest staff and owners you could wish for!🍺”
“I’m so glad we found this gem of a place in San Anselmo! My wife and I live in Brooklyn and come to the area every year to see family. This bar/ hang out spot is one of the most welcoming spaces in the area. The mid century / south west aesthetic instantly adds a coziness element. The staff are super kind, the drinks are so fresh and creative, and the pop up food was packed with flavor! Shout out for the space being very sensory friendly- large ceiling sound proof panels and wood on the walls to absorb noise. I will be back!”
“Stefano's is our favorite work night pizza place! Thursday us pizza night at our house, and we stop by for quick slices and salad. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's also fun to listen to Brazilian Portuguese being spoken. All I can say is "Obregado!"”
“Great for events and parties or just swing by for a drink. Best well kept secret in Marin. Fun funky bar and great outside patio area. There is a wonderful upstairs hall as well with a private bar and kitchen. Lots of options.”

“The food is addictive. The people who run it are SUPER friendly and nice. And the claw machines have my kids breaking their piggy banks to play every time we go.”

“Really good pizza, amazing risotto, awesome caesar salad and kick ass Brussels sprouts.
First I went for the pizza and was really happy with it. Then I saw they have risotto and tried it. Then I saw they make their own pasta. Been there a couple of times and didn't even order the pizza and was completely satisfied. Last time there I tried the ravioli of the month which was really good.
It's definitely our regular pizza place now.
Service is hit or miss. Never bad.
On cold days it does get cold inside at times. Not the warmest place to go for dinner. Last time it was actually freezing inside and I felt like the AC was on when I was in the 40s outside. After about a half hour the heat seemed to have kicked in and it warmed up. That was weird. If you get cold easily bring a jacket to wear inside.
Update after a few visits over a year or so:
Tonight was spot on with everything. The monthly pizza was the best we've had so far. I love how they change up the risotto. It's good each time. I usually get the caesarlina salad which is delicious but since it was a cold day, I tried the minestrone. It was fantastic. I finally remembered to take pics this time.
There are a couple of new really good spots in San Rafael now that do legit Neapolitan pizza. Pizzalina shines with their crisp NY style crust.”
“Most expansive variety of matcha from different providences in Japan. I’ve enjoyed the hyper-premium matcha every morning before work. Keeps you awake without any jitters and full of L-theanine. Excellent for health and longevity.”

“Went here for a somewhat large family gathering. While not the best Mexican food I've ever had the quality was good. Every one in the group seemed to enjoy their meals and my steak burrito hit the spot. Margaritas were pretty good too. Staff were friendly and attentive.
I would suggest you guys take orders at the table like a normal restaurant instead of making us go up to the front desk and order. I get that you are probably short staffed but getting our group of over 10 people to the front of the restaurant and ordered took way longer than was necessary, and we ended up making other customers wait while we got everything sorted.
While I don't mind paying for my meal before I eat it, if you are paying with a credit card it means you have to tip before receiving service, which just seems backwards to me (a tip should be a thank you).
Would go back again.”

“Good food, good service, and an excellent value. I've been going to this place for over 20 years and the staff know me very well. The salsa bar and fresh chips have always been a nice perk that set its apart from other places which have come and gone. It's always busy around lunchtime and parking lot can packed but they get orders out quickly. I usually get my food to go but dining in is a pretty comfortable experience. They've steadily upgraded the interior over the years and recently got all new tables/chairs.”

“I had lunch here with a friend and it was such a nice break. Sitting on the sunny terrace at the picnic tables gave it a real vacation feel. The lunch options are fresh and farm-to-table inspired, simple but well done. The bread is excellent, so good that I brought one home. A relaxed spot with good food and an easy, pleasant atmosphere.”

“Barton’s is my go-to morning stop on the way to work. I’m there a lot, and it never disappoints. My regular order is the lox sandwich — about ten bucks and you get a fantastic toasted bagel loaded with all the good stuff. The bagels are consistently excellent, the cream cheese options are all great, and their espresso is top-notch. On top of that, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend if you want a quality bagel and coffee to start your day.”

“The staff at this Subway are awesome. I came in at 9:30pm to order 17 six-inch subs for a student field trip, not realizing the store closed at 10pm (online it said it was open until 1am). Adrienne the girl at the counter was soooo nice to agree to make all the sandwiches, which ended up making her clock out late. She saved the day! The field trip with the kids was a hit and they loved their sandwiches. After I left I realized I accidentally left my credit card in the card reader (tired teacher). Alex F the morning guy kept my card safe for pick up after I got off work. You just don't find kind, honest, and hardworking people like Adrienne and Alex that often anymore.I believe the manager's name is Mr. Sunil. If you read this Sunil, you have two superstar employees working for you! I hope they get some recognition and promotions. They were just wonderful.I highly recommend this Subway to anyone who loves great service, kind people, and delicious food.”
“I love this classic frozen yogurt shop. They always have great new flavors (as well as the classics) and the best toppings whether you are a candy or fresh fruit fan. The staff is always friendly and helpful.”

“Definitely one of the best breakfast / brunch / lunch spots in Marin. Good service, great food, excellent for a vibrant morning outside on the dog-froendly patio or getting to go food for a picnic at the lake.”

“Beautiful establishment with friendly service and a nice beverage selection. However, their food left me desiring more—their peaches weren’t ripe enough and very hard, and their Greek salad seemed more like an arugula/ onion salad with small amounts of tomato and cheese.”

“I don’t want to ruin this classic San Anselmo business’ income, but in lieu of a website or email address, I’m compelled to leave this public review in hopes that ownership sees it. You guys are over roasting your African beans to a criminal degree. Yirgacheffe and Tz pea berry are such delicate, complex beans, with so many floral / fruity / light flavors, that roasting them within an inch of their lives completely misses their point. Far be it from me to tell someone else how to run their business, but as someone with a deep knowledge of and passion for single origin light roast coffees, you guys shouldn’t do this to your (very expensive) Ethiopian and Tanzanian beans. Dark roast the other stuff. I’m sure most people want that. But please light roast those beans. I’m throwing away the one pound bag of yirgacheffe I bought yesterday, heartbroken at how burnt and undrinkable it is. For reference: V60 / medium ground / tetsu kasuya pour method. Side note: incredibly kind staff, and old school San Anselmo charm. Just burnt beans.”

“Love this place! Great atmosphere with some really cool pics of old bands and legends like the rat pack, 2 patios, 1 in the back, and 1 next to parking lot, 2 pool tables, and the bartenders are knowledgeable with drinks. I believe they serve hotdogs (not sure) but you are welcome to bring food and eat it there.”

“The food is delicious. I love to get their beans, green rice, super fresh tortillas, guacamole and their delicious slaw! Everything tastes very fresh and flavorful! My husband also loves their Brussels sprouts. It is one of the few places in Marin that caters to omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and people who are gluten free! The service is always great and I love the atmosphere with the well spaced and comfortable booths! They make a great margarita!”
