“We have been looking for great pizza since we moved to Marin a little over a year ago. I am happy to tell you that we finally found it! This pizza is as close to Neapolitan style that can be found in Marin. They have unique and well thought flavor combinations, especially the "Pizza of the Month" offering. My favorite is the "Escalle": tomato, house mozzarella, house sausage, Zoe’s pepperoni & fennel pollen. I get mine with extra red sauce. They offer a take and bake option where your pizza will be mostly baked and you finish it off at home. This is a great option because your pizza will be as hot and fresh as possible when you pull it out of the oven. The pasta dishes are also tasty and well thought. If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend the "Butterscotch Pudding" it is absolutely divine.“
“My husband & I used to be regulars at this restaurant until we moved out of Fairfax and further north so it's been a while since I have been here. I went last night for dinner with my sister and we had a fantastic meal. The server was very attentive and patient. He was great answering our questions and held one of the appetizers she had ordered to keep it warm until I arrived. Very nice. The only thing is that now that I'm vegetarian, there weren't a lot of pasta options and I ended up with a margarita pizza. It was yummy so no complaints, but I would love it if some restaurants in Marin would start to make more of an effort for vegetarians and vegans, especially since more and more people are going at least partially plant based. I have to say that it is the running joke for me with my friends that when we go out to eat, I have the choice of a mushroom dish as an entree unless I decide to do salads or apps. There are so many other things to do for plant based appetites than mushrooms and butternut squash. And I feel like Italian should be one of those restaurants that can really do a nice job with non-meat dishes. Okay, that being said, we had a great time, the apps and wine were delicious and the dessert, Tartuffo, was as delicious as I had remembered.“
“Every time I am in the area, I have to go here for the Petaluma Pesto Pizza. They are always very fast and pizza is delicious. I was given an hour time frame for delivery, and we are only maybe 5 minutes away. Not even 30 minutes, our pizza was here and exactly how we wanted it.“

The pizza had a nice crispy crust and the flavors were very balanced on the salad dressing. This is a cozier restaurant with roughly 5-6 pizzas on the menu. As others have mentioned, we recommend coming earlier unless you want to wait. We were there at opening and got a table no problem. We will definitely be back.“
“This may be the best pizza in all of Marin. Lo Coco's is a family-owned pizza place in Terra Linda that is super family-friendly and absolutely delicious. They do not do much other than pizza, but don't let that deter you. The pizza makes it all worth it! They do have a few salad options, and a delicious canneloni dish, but if you come here, you better get some pizza! Lots of great combinations-- you really can't go wrong. And they have really inexpensive bottles of wine, too.“
“I hadn't been to this spot in years so since it was a hot day I decided to give it a try again. Was surprised to see that it's now combined w/ apizza which sounds like the perfect combination/treat. The owner was super sweet and told me to take my time looking at the flavors and options they had. I was intrigued by the matcha one because I was looking for something on the sweeter side. He let me know the matcha froyo was vanilla froyo mixed w/ matcha. He also let me know that if I didn't like it, I could try a different one. The matcha froyo was super yummy and was a perfect balance of matcha & sweet. Would def come back here again“
“Love looking for new places to try, especially when traveling. Provided options to my SIL for her bday dinner and this is what she opted for. We ordered an assortment: beer battered onion rings, ceaser salad, kale salad, clam chowder, mustache pizza and shrimp scampi pasta. We enjoyed everything (no leftovers). We ordered dessert: tiramisu and chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. It takes about 15 minutes for the cookie as they make it fresh in a cast iron pan so it's served nice and warm. Cute place and great ambiance.“
“Fun neighborhood-type place. We always feel welcome and happy at La Locanda. The Caesar salad actually tastes like anchovies and the Parmesan makes the dressing a little creamy. All the Pinsa is delicious. We've tried them all and enjoyed each variety. Re wine, If you ask for a mineral-ly white, they will recommend and you'll be happy. All the dishes the wait staff carried by us looked tempting. All the wait staff is friendly. One problem: the focaccia is so good that it's hard to stop eating it.“

“Recently went back to Boca for the first time since the pandemic. Pre-pandemic, it was one of our go-to restaurants with the kids, but somehow, didn't get around to going back until recently. Food: App: octopus was well seasoned and tender without being mushy. Even the arugula was dressed well, and went well with the octopus and polenta. Salad. Shared a Boca salad. We used to always get a salad that had lamb slices and I think a hunk of goat cheese(?) but it's no longer on the menu. This entree salad was a pretty good substitute. Generous portion, and again, well dressed--flavorful without being drenched/soggy. Crostini was nicely toasted. Entree: shared the short rib pappardelle, which was delicious. So flavorful, and our 10 year old kept sneaking bites even after he claimed he was full from his pizza. Pizza: got the kids a pepperoni, and cheese pizza, fully knowing that the pizzas are big, and that they would eat less than half, since they refused to compromise and share a pizza. But hey, leftovers for lunch the next day! The pizzas were fine, nothing special. But the kids liked them, which is saying something. Service: attentive without being hovering Ambiance: casual, not too crowded, but we went at 5 pm, when it's mostly families and maybe seniors.“

This recommendation is for the wonderful, delicious, slice of pizza that I had from here. I try to look for a pizza place that uses healthy oils like olive oil and was told this place does! I had the classic pepperoni slice for almost $8 and was stoked to find out I get two slices with my order!!! That first bite into the pizza was delicious. If you're into the thin crust pizzas with just the right amount of flavor and crunch this place is for you. I will be back to order for events at the office and also maybe to sneak in a couple slices after work who knows. “I just happened to see the store when I was shopping nearby, and decided to google whether they had vegan options. Sure enough, they have a ton of veg pizzas! Signed up for the app and ordered in my car, pizza was ready in 20 mins exactly as they said it would be. The staff was incredibly helpful and told me virtually anything there could be veganized! They even carry veg chick’n nuggets that can be added to any pizza or salad. The vibe was just fantastic, it was such a pleasant surprise. I am a customer for LIFE!“

“Our family, 22 adults and 2 babies, enjoyed Sunday brunch in the larger private room. It was great to not have to worry about the noise that our chatter and laughter created! Tables were set up in a U-shape, which was conducive for lots of movement and interaction. The service was provided by one server, with help for water and drinks. People arrived at different times, so it wasn't one huge crush on the kitchen. I was able to arrange a prix fixe menu with a choice of 6 Brunch entrees, including a non-alcoholic drink for $25 per person. The menu was printed up for us and placed at every place setting. The food was well presented, with delicious bread and olive oil provided while we waited for our orders. A few items were not hot enough - coffee and french fries - but were replaced without problem. If you are gluten-free, bring your own bread! Also, some of us felt that there could have been more seasoning... but overall, we were very satisfied and appreciative!“
“Visited Tamalpie Sunday afternoon after a hike in Tiburon and was pleasantly surprised. They have a cozy outdoor seating area with a fire pit which is very nice. We ordered the calamari and Caesar salad to start. The Caesar was very good, but on the heavier side with dressing. We ordered the Tenderfoot and Railroad Grade pizzas, which balanced one another out perfectly. The Tenderfoot was a white sauce with mushrooms, while the Railroad Grade had your typical tomato sauce and provided the right amount of saltiness with the pepperoni. Loved that the pizza was super thin crust, yet held its form with a nice crisp. Would definitely come again if in the area!“
“My wife and I have been enjoying Mulberry's for 20 years. About 6 years ago my wife and daughter decided to try 5 pizza specialty restaurants in Marin and Mulberrys won as the best tasting pizza! From the dough to the cheeses, peppers, garlic, clams, pesto......everything is fresh. We dined tonight on March 23 and ordered the claims and garlic. I asked for extra tomato sauce and got plenty. "Oh a my, such a good a tasting pizza" They have great cooks! The service was excellent as it is always. The young kids and men working really hustle and work to keep their customers happy. Don was our Waitor tonight, and is full of positive energy and checked on us during the meal to make sure we were happy customers. Expect great food and friendly and competent service every time.“

They have a very good Gluten Free crust available...The chicken wings are good though a little small, the onion rings are very tasty - note they like every thing else on the menu are baked not fried, the penne pasta is quite good.“
