Love looking for new places to try, especially when traveling. Provided options to my SIL for her bday dinner and this is what she opted for. We ordered an assortment: beer battered onion rings, ceaser salad, kale salad, clam chowder, mustache pizza and shrimp scampi pasta. We enjoyed everything (no leftovers). Ordered a BLT with garlic fries and my husband ordered the shrimp scampi. Food was excellent, great flavor, perfect portion size. We went between lunch and dinner after a softball game, so we had the place to ourselves. Quiet, warm atmosphere. We talked to the owner for a few minutes. Very friendly and great customer service! A gem of an eatery in San Rafael! Would visit again for sure!

The owner was very friendly. The food was delicious and they are known for their buttermilk fried chicken so get that. Everything is excellent. And then just sit and enjoy yourself in a place free of drama and full of great guest service. Listen instead of talk and they may reveal some secrets of downtown San Rafael.
