“Piatti's is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is always excellent, the presentation beautiful, the service is great and the people working there are friendly. Last night, we sat outside and I am so glad we did. It was gorgeous - a spectacular sunset - which only enhanced the meal. It was warm and comfortable outside, it was a Friday night. There were two of us and we had the bread basket (always yummy), the Spinach and Ricotta Tortellini, the Beef Short rib with Polenta, and a Caesar Salad (to share). Everything was fresh, well-prepared and we enjoyed every bite.“

I'm staying at the HI Hostel at Fisherman's Warf and this was my first meal after checking in. Good portions for a decent value. It's near the hostel and easy to find and return from.“

“I've been going to this wonderful pizza ? place since I was young. I love everything about Nizarios! Good price, good crust, sauce and cheese hits hella slaps!!! Most of all the people there are all kind and attentive. They know what they are doing over there. Made with hella love ❤️❣️ I forgot to mention the only challenge and struggle is the parking there is no parking most of the time because it's very busy in that area. So if want a pizza from here call it in so that you can double park and get your order fast.

“Stopped by recently on a hot summer day for some gelato. Talk about a perfect repast to beat the summer heat. I had hazelnut and mango, and the portions are very generous. I didn't ask, but I think they make the cones in-house. Anyway, strange combination, I know. The mango was immediately delicious but I think I messed up combining the two because when it came time for the hazelnut, I was too full to truly enjoy the depth of flavor. Next time, I'll get it to take home. I love the location, it's in one of my favorite areas of San Rafael with shopping, good food and entertainment in abundance. Haven't had the pizza yet, but I'm a New Yorker and we're picky about our slices!“

“So a quaint and beautiful bakery. Had the chocolate almond croissant on sourdough bread. It was such a beautiful combination of sweet and sour flavors. The pastry was buttery and the chocolate filling was sweet, maybe little too sweet. The proprietor of the business is such a sweet man. The staff definitely not used to the characteristics of the adventure crew. Marsala tender, but lacked traditional pop. Flavor was nowhere to be found. The Italian dressing, on the salad, did make up for flavor punch. Left us all experiencing major foodgasm. Thank you all for the experience and being open to accommodate wayward adventurers.“
