About Pinsa Rossa

Pinsa Rossa is a wonderful restaurant known for its amazing appetizers, salads, and unique pinsas. The crust of the pinsas is crunchy and light, thanks to their 72-hour process, and full of flavor. The restaurant is located in a great area, making it a cute spot to enjoy a meal. The service is quick and friendly, with staff who are nice and efficient, ensuring food arrives on time. Customers often praise the delicious pizzas, especially the pinsa, which has a well-crafted dough with the right balance of taste, greasiness, and healthiness. The restaurant can accommodate dietary restrictions, such as providing vegan cheese for those who cannot consume lactose products, although some customers have found the vegan options lacking in flavor. The atmosphere is cozy, though some feel the music, often rap or trap, does not match the setting. The pasta and other dishes, like chicken parmigiana and pesto gnocchi, are also tasty. Pinsa Rossa offers a well-curated wine list with generous pours at reasonable prices, providing a high-quality dining experience at a good value. Many guests enjoy returning for the consistent quality and enjoyable food, especially the brussel sprouts, which have been highlighted as a standout dish.

Not sure how it’s the fourth-best pinsa in the U.S., unless the other three pinserias are also in San Francisco. It’s perfectly fine if you’re hungry and already on Fillmore, but it probably wouldn’t be my first choice otherwise.

They have a good variety of pinsas, although I didn’t find them as balanced as some others I’ve had. They’re pretty heavy on the cheese, and the sauce is a little too sweet for my taste.

Super friendly staff, good prices and excellent food. We had the caprese salad, chicken parm, and spicy soppressata pinsa. Everything was excellent. The Pinsa is so airy with a great crunch around the edges really lets the fresh flavor of the toppings shine through.
This place does Roman style pizza, which isn't my personal favorite style. But the pizza is good, not as heavy as it looks. They have a good happy hour if you hit it during the small window. Great vibe, good location right on the corner
