Escape from New York Pizza has a storied past which revolves around music scenes from bygone eras, evidence of which cover the walls within the Pizza joint itself.IMO the best pies and slices in the city, the atmosphere and service is also awesome, and deliveries are prompt.Authentic San Francisco.It's just a shame that the Mission EFNY is no more.
Wow. This spot is still around. I remember coming here 25 years ago with my friends. We used to have a studio where we used to create all sorts of electronic music. We used to take a pizza break after a long session. Glad this place is still here on Haight street.

Pizza was so delicious and so saucy. I loved it. The line appeared long but they went through it so fast that it was very quick. I would highly recommend the pizza. It was incredible. We took it to hippy hill, nearby, to eat it.
