“We went hiking in mt tam and randomly came across this place. The chocolate cake was divine. So moist and flavorful. Apparently they only make that one cake and it’s what the whole town buys. The gentleman on the counter was also very helpful.“

“Had the Californi Benedict. Good portion and prepared well. Also had Burrata Toast which was simple and delicious. Comes with 3 slices of toasted country bread. It could use another slice to finish off the burrata. Would order both again. Pastries also yummy but you have to get there early to have the choices.“

Was impressed at the price and variety of flavors; only $2.50 per individual cheesecake and flavors ranging from caramel apple to s'mores to pumpkin. Excited at the potential of getting like eight different cheesecakes all in different flavors for less than $20. I plan on returning again. Cash only, for those who want to plan ahead.“

“Very friendly welcome, reasonable price and excellent americano. We decided to share a piece of frittata and it was so good we got another piece to share and my husband got blueberry banana bread to go. The frittata was fresh and delicious with at least six different vegetables in it. The banana bread was very moist and eggy, yummy and satisfying. Highly recommend this place!“

Try the bacon/egg/maple syrup bun or the veggie pocket! There is ample indoor space to sit and sip. There are also books and puzzles for bringing your child, and with the outdoor space, an ideal child friendly cafe for a bite to eat.

“My entire family loved the gluten free, caramel apple pie I ordered last year for Thanksgiving. So I ordered two more when I got home. There’s no way I could make it better. It was delicious!“

While the texture of the cake was good with the poppyseeds adding great crunch, the lemon flavor of it was missing. Could have added more lemon zest and juice to it. As for the icing, it’s sugar icing. So there is nothing to complain about.“

“Whenever we're in the area in the mornings, I always go to Buvette due Marais for their delicious and wonderfully buttery pastries. I feel comfortable going alone or with friends. This was the first time we've gone for dinner, and we were not disappointed. It was an unusually warm night, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. We both had the buckwheat crepes with ham and gruyere - delicious. Excellent food, relaxing and French ambiance, and prompt, friendly service. Although we did not have wine, the wine list looked inviting.“

“We ate here a few times during our recent stay. The seafood stew was delicious, perfectly cooked seafood that melts in your mouth. I'm a bread fanatic (what can I say) and the garlic bread shocked me it was so good. I would eat just a meal of the garlic bread if I could. The avocado pasta was also surprisingly good. Wouldn't have thought of that flavor combination but it worked well. Clam chowder was warming and a solid choice, again sort of overshadowed by my aw at the world's greatest croutons on to the soup? Whoever is baking and toasting the bread at this restaurant has a gift.

My least favorite dishes were the seafood risotto (tiny portion, barely any seafood in it), and the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich had some sort of seasoning in it with the consistency of sand. Like chewing chicken covered in sand. Had to scrape it off.“
