“Golden Era was a pleasant surprise. The pho broth is a little different from what I usually expect in a good way. It actually reminds me more of the broth used in Vietnamese hủ tiếu, but with a richer and more flavorful seasoning. I really enjoyed it.

I haven't had the chance to try other dishes yet, but the pho alone was worth the visit. The owner seemed to be running the restaurant by himself, so service was a bit slow at times, which is understandable.

The restaurant itself looks a little older and could use some updating, but the food quality is solid and the meal was enjoyable. If you're looking for a comforting bowl of noodle soup and don't mind a relaxed pace, Golden Era is definitely worth trying.“

The authentic Thai coffees and teas are especially noteworthy, with beans sourced from Thailand and roasted in-house. In addition to drinks, they also have smoothies, boba, and some food options. The thoughtful Thai decor throughout the space is beautiful and adds a unique charm, and the service was excellent. We ordered the Thai iced coffee and green tea—both were fantastic—but we’ll definitely be stopping again on our next road trip to try their boba.“

“This was my first time visiting Oddcha while heading home from San Francisco, and it definitely caught my attention because of the great reviews.
We ordered the Coconut Bomb and the Thai Twister, and both drinks were excellent. They weren’t overly sweet and had a really refreshing flavor. The boba also tasted fresh, which made the drinks even better.
Ordering was easy using their kiosk system. One thing to note is that parking is located behind the shop. It was a bit confusing at first since the store is on a very busy road, but once you find the back parking area, it’s much more convenient.
Overall, a great stop for refreshing drinks—I’d definitely come back!“

“Great old school place. The French toast, the scramble, the hash browns, the Benedict, and the coffee were all great. Excellent place to stop on the way back from Muir Woods or Mt Tam, or really just a good place to go for a good breakfast. Service was fast and attentive but never felt rushed. Highly recommend.“

My wife and I were here on a Sunday visiting Sausalito for the first time (It's a lovely place with wonderful views and nice stores to see and nice people strolling around) and we got very Stressed because of some argument we had and also not being familiar with the place and we were also trying to manage our child as well. Anyway, my wife told me she heard this ice cream was Good and she went ahead and got 2 cups cookie dough and bubble gum and it was a great treat and calmed us all down. The store is pleasant and fast it usually has a line as it is a popular place and the ice cream is creamy tasty rich and good.

But I'm writing this review primarily to give a huge THANK YOU and shoutout to the management and employees here - an incredibly kind and trustworthy group of folks.

I lost my wallet just before a big trip, and after calling around, the manager of this Philz informed me that they were in possession of my wallet after it was found on a chair the day prior. The manager and employees kept it safe and upon retrieval, it still had all my belongings - including a substantial amount of loose cash.

“I have always loved the Gloria Jeans drinks in fact I used to work at the Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario California at Gloria Jeans there it was owned by Katie Chuck a very nice lady to work for but unfortunately she closed her business I miss working there that was back in 2002 -2006 4 years I had worked for her I still know how to make every drink we had back then cold and hot drinks speciality drinks which were the holiday drinks I remember the measurements to brew coffee ☕️ for the day when you work there for that long everything sticks with you but as for today I’m sure many things have changed as the years went by but I do still see some of the same coffee beans we had back then I wish we had one here in applevalley California we used to have one in the Victorville Mall years ago but that one has gone out of business as well years ago please ?? someone bring Gloria Jeans back to the High desert of California Applevalley California we need one here desperately I’m so sick of Starbucks they overroast their beans which gives the drinks a burnt taste of course they will deny it there is nothing like a Gloria Jeans coffee ☕️ hot or cold simply the best you can’t get any better then Gloria Jeans Coffee..❤️“

“I don’t want to ruin this classic San Anselmo business’ income, but in lieu of a website or email address, I’m compelled to leave this public review in hopes that ownership sees it. You guys are over roasting your African beans to a criminal degree. Yirgacheffe and Tz pea berry are such delicate, complex beans, with so many floral / fruity / light flavors, that roasting them within an inch of their lives completely misses their point. Far be it from me to tell someone else how to run their business, but as someone with a deep knowledge of and passion for single origin light roast coffees, you guys shouldn’t do this to your (very expensive) Ethiopian and Tanzanian beans. Dark roast the other stuff. I’m sure most people want that. But please light roast those beans. I’m throwing away the one pound bag of yirgacheffe I bought yesterday, heartbroken at how burnt and undrinkable it is. For reference: V60 / medium ground / tetsu kasuya pour method. Side note: incredibly kind staff, and old school San Anselmo charm. Just burnt beans.“
