“This is a very popular but also small coffee shop located just across from the city park. They have a handful of tables inside and out one sidewalk, always full most of the morning and even through out the day. I got a yogurt parfait, and my wife got an avocado toast to go along with some cold brews. Nothing that really blew me away, but the staff was friendly and overall good quality.“

“Hands down our favorite breakfast spot in Sausalito. During our six-day trip to the Bay Area, we found ourselves coming back to Fred’s three times because the experience was simply unmatched.
While everything we ate was delicious and the #5 bacon is genuinely to die for, it was the exceptional hospitality that won us over. The waitstaff treats you like family. Their attentive care, genuine concern, and friendly conversations added a memorable personal touch to our mornings. Outstanding food and even better service. Fred’s has earned permanent spots on our Bay Area itinerary!“

“Cute place but unnavigable due to a slow moving line. I had a chocolate and an ice cream cone: neither were competitive in quality and had tourist trap prices. The staff made this cute place fun. The reason for 4 stars because their competitor that I am familiar with had a ridiculously long line that I saw after I stopped here. In the time crunch I was on, I’m glad I saw this place first.“

“Lappert’s Ice Cream in Sausalito is a must-visit! There’s usually a line, but it’s worth the wait. The ice cream is creamy and delicious—I highly recommend the Cookie Monster flavor. It’s the perfect treat after exploring the waterfront. Also, military members receive free ice cream with a valid active-duty ID, which is a wonderful bonus!“

“Stopped by Sausalito Bakery & Cafe for a coffee and had to try their signature blueberry banana bread pudding, so good! Sat for a while sipping my coffee and watching the sailboats go by. Such a great way to spend the afternoon in Sausalito. I’ll definitely be back!“
