“I simply loved Road Runner Burrito. I live in Texas, and it's know we have fabulous Taco's. I was visiting a friend in California and was getting a tad hungry, so I saw a shopping center and figured I could find something quick to eat. This is when the magic happens. I saw Road Runner Burrito, and decided to give them a shot. Boy was my belly happy that I did. I ordered the Fish Tacos and they were a culinary delight. Without a shadow of doubt, they were in the 3 best tacos I've ever had. I promise you, if they were in Texas, it would be a weekly visit. The fish was grilled to perfection and they added just the right amount of slaw on top. Simply a fish taco executed at the highest level. Road Runner gets two thumbs up in my book.“
“So this was probably the best smoked salmon sandwich I had in my life so far. The Brazilian cream cheese is so good with the salmon! The coffee with milk didn't need sugar, it's just so refreshing on its own.I tried a small bite of the Veggie omelet, and the tapioca crepe is so good, and the omelet is even better.Highly recommended at the fisherman's wharf, with a order by number service, in a good location, I'm gonna say you have to try it here!Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian options that are clearly marked. Pretty sure you can make minor substitutions, but you'll have to ask!“
“This place is truly a diamond that doesn't get enough attention! We have been coming to World Green Acai since they have opened 4 years ago. Authentic Acai is hard to find and World Green does not disappoint! This is not a fast food restaurant. The care and effort to make high quality authentic Brazilian food is the ethos of the owners. Have patience and you will be rewarded with a delicious unique and authentic Brazilian food experience. It's true that folks travel from all over the Bay Area just to experience the food and environment of World Green Acai.“
“We came here because they specifically called out good breakfast but did not find that to be the case. Prepackaged, very expensive burritos and a very bland quiche were what we found.Coffee and matcha was great, atmosphere was great. Just really not a place to get food, too.“
“Nice confy hidden jewel in Marin! The food is very tasty and feels homey! The pastries are super good(specially the small almond cakes and croissants!). The customer service is super friendly and very attentive! I highly recommend the kitchen breakfast! We have to support our local businesses! Especially when the food and service are excellent!“
“I've had my fair share of boba and other crafty teas but Oddcha probably has been the best so far. I'm usually very picky about matcha drinks and Oddcha exceeded my expectations consistently. Love their golden matcha! Also their cheese toppings are delicious!“
“In San Francisco in my opinion people are not always nice including service people, this place was awesome. They ice cream was delicious. I think the owner served us and he was super nice accommodated lots of samples, delicious, ice cream, and very reasonable prices.“
“Very authentic, great food and pho, friendly service! I spent 1 month travelling in Vietnam a few years ago and this food is awesome! I had the pho tai and spring rolls, both excellent! The family vibe is really cool too, I enjoyed watching the TV with grandma, seriously!“
“Really cozy local café with great sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. It’s everything you could want for breakfast or lunch. Everything is made to order and sometimes there’s only one person there so it can take a bit of time but it’s totally worth it. This is the chicken club panini which is my fave.“
“Because I read the Marin IJ Feb. 2024 review, I tried this new cafe. The spicy pork protein bowl was fresh, delicious, and nutritious. The kim chee was excellent! When I lived in Seoul, I ate Korean food in high-end restaurants and cheap hole-in-the-walls.This cafe gives a great taste and feel for the uniqueness of Korean cuisine.Highly recommend!“
“Totally radical place to take your toddler or under 12 kiddos!! a contained play zone with hidden tunnels and ladders and costumes! My kid who is 4.5 spent about 3 hours there and slept so well that night. So we went back three days in a row. Today is day four! Perfect for time when you don’t have a sitter, it’s vacation and you’re stuck in town or just need something new! The cafe is separate and you can watch your kid or sit and have a latte or pellegrino. If you’re not a wheat and sugar person, bring snacks! They only have pastries and oatmeal. 10/10 and would be 20/10 if there were some non grain and sugar food options like hard boiled eggs? Also could be good to have one dedicated staff member with bright vest in the chaos so that parents don’t have to play referee! We love you Fox & Kit!! ???Kid-friendliness: Literally best kid zone i’ve been too- controlled chaos with a latte lounge if you need a breather! Met lots of awesome local parents too! Great chill spot for connecting while kids have a blast and the smallness makes for kids connection more effective!!???“
“The bistro board is the ultimate configurable breakfast. You want high protein? fat? carbs? all can be done! The scrambled eggs melted in my mouth, as did the scrumptious croissant. Get the five items if you're average-hungry, seven to share or if really, really hungry.“
“Love this special spot with accommodating hostess with the mostess and tasty treats served with style + your favorite pot of Tea! Lovely idea for birthday or special occasion. You can wear your fascinator or hat, too! We had the classic. high Tea with a split of champagne and we are coming back next week! Take your fave gal pal, your Mom, Auntie, Colleague, Niece of any age and create a wonderful memory together!“
“This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“
“Red Whale has brought hipster coffee to San Rafael. If you are a coffee aficionado and you haven’t been here yet, you need to be. I love a good latte and Red Whale does not disappoint. Their lattes can easily hang with the likes of Blue Bottle and Equator. And if you are a drip coffee or cold brew person, these guys look legit. They have a wall of glass equipment dedicated to making cold brew (it’s worth going just to see that wall!).There has been as much thought put into the space as they have put into their coffee - with a room dedicated to coffee paraphernalia and a lounge room equipped with a seating area, record player and vintage pinball machines. One thing to note is if you’re in a rush, you may or may not get your coffee quickly. Sometimes the regulars like to chat up the baristas which can slow things down a bit but the coffee is definitely worth the wait.“
“I sat there for half a day between business meetings and had a great time. The coffee is hot and good, the sandwiches are delicious and Ziyad, the Owner, is a very friendly guy! It’s a great, quiet neighborhood cafe. I hope to come back to San Fran soon to have another BLT there again.“
“Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.“
“Ideally located with a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz prisonThe staff and the drinks are very goodThey provide treats for dogs, which I found adorable! There are no toilets, but there are some right in front of the café towards the Golden Gate Welcome Center.I'd love to go back“
“Rock Club catered my husband's retirement party. Easy to communicate with, flexible & arrived early to set up for event. Their burgers, fries & onion rings were awesome & EVERYONE raved about them. My husband is still talking about how delicious they were today. I am sure I will be getting many texts asking for their info. Thank you again so much!!“
“I stumbled upon this Teaspoon location before a recent trip to visit my parents. It's tucked in the Town Center shopping center next to Pacific Catch and across from Il Forniao. When you walk in, the take out counter is in front of you. To order, walk right to either the cashier or the self-service kiosk. The menu is also above the kiosk, which shows the many drinks Teaspoon offers. My favorites are the Lychee on Lychee (lychee black tea with lychee jelly topping) and the Mango Funtime Smoothie, while my wife loves the Black Sugar Assam. This location is quite small, with only 3 tables inside (though there are several tables outside). I did make the mistake of coming on a weekday afternoon right after school ended, so there were several young people having drinks with their friends, making for a bit of a wait for my drink as well as a loud atmosphere inside. Just be prepared if you hit this after school rush.“
“Coffee was great with a beautiful view! Some coffee places make their coffee super sweet, but this place you can definitely taste the coffee, which I love. I got their vanilla iced latte. Keep in mind that this is at a hotspot, so it can get crowded and the line can get long. I went for the first time and enjoyed it.“
“Kicked it at Kaleidoscope Coffee in Point Richmond! It's not your typical coffee shop – during the day, it's a cozy spot for coffee and ice cream, and at night, it turns into a lively hangout with performances.Their menu is full of local goodies like Tara's Organic Ice Cream and Wrecking Ball Coffee. I tried their unique creations like beet hummus and indulged in Revolution Muffins and Bakin’ Vegan pastries – all delicious! The atmosphere is buzzing with energy and community spirit. Kaleidoscope Coffee is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!“
“12 years ago I visited San Francisco, cycled across the bridge with friends and sat here and had sandwiches. When people ask where I had the best sandwich in my life, I say it was this place. And despite being from Manchester UK, I'll be going back.“
“Looking for a coffee to go in the area we ended up in shoreline coffee shop. As we were walking towards the Cafe we preceived the aromas of the food coming to us and inviting us to stay and eat. The food was good and freshly cooked. It's a traditional breakfast place. It was sunny enough to sit outside. Coffee was good.“
“Great cafe, went here to and from the north coast and it was fantastic! I will definitely stop here again next time I'm in Marin.A heads up though if you park on the street nearby with meters, I had the city parking enforcement ticket me 10 minutes before my meter actually ran out and I had no proof because I used quarters, so either use a credit card or take a photo of your meter...“
“Best ice cream in Sausalito IMHO. I’ve been here about five times and I always look forward to it. Any of the coffee flavored ice creams are great, but my personal favorite is the Oregon Cherry one. Expect Sausalito prices, but worth it. Great when you’re waiting for the ferry!“
“Two words to describe my experience at The Spice And Tea Exchange. Simply Marvelous! Lauren helped me navigate through the many options to choose from. She was awesome. When I asked her for suggestions, she was smart and ask what are my likes first. From that information, she gave wonderful suggestions. I loved that everything was well organized and passing all the wonderful aromas of the teas was such a delightful experience. I also purchased a candle called the San Francisco Sunshine. It smelled wonderful. Whenever I'm in San Francisco again. I'm definitely stopping by there:)“
“Very sweet staff!! Okay spot for eating if you wanna sit nearby as well, with some good potential views.Pricing considering the location was good as well, as I tried to go to other places beforehand but found them too expensive in comparison. The coffee I had was good as well and I could choose to add some coffee into it myself which was very much appreciated.“
“Equator coffee in Larkspur is 10/10. They consistently deliver an EXCELLENT cappuccino and the staff is so warm, it’s a local community feeling. Special shout out to Kaitlyn. She’s wonderful. I just love coming here every morning ❤️“
“This review is essentially a 3.5/5, but i rounded up. It is based on ordering one cortado to go. The espresso is the only thing keeping it from being a 3.Milk steam quality, 3/5. The temperature was a bit on the warm side but not overly hot. The milk was just slightly too thin. Even for a cortado I like a bit more air in the milk, not to the consistency of a cappuccino, but the cortado shouldn't taste slippery.Espresso quality, 5/5. I'm not sure what is in their espresso blend, but it stands up to milk really well. It's malty and nutty, but not overly roasted.Ambiance, 3/5. Just average. Trying to be both a deli/sandwich shop and a coffee shop. It's not a place I necessarily would want to come camp out and work in for too long, but it could be a decent spot for lunch. However, there's a lot of people always mulling about, waiting for to go drinks, etc., so it feels busy.Service, 3/5. Neither overly hospitable or hostile. Just average.“
“I had never tried a Thai iced coffee before, so I figured that I'd give this place a shot! I was liked in and got my drink quickly. It was delicious and priced competitively for it being a special coffee drink. I'll definitely be by to try it again soon.“
“We dined for brunch and had a wonderful meal and experience. The food is really good and the cocktails were even better. Classic California flare.Highly recommend reservations for weekends, especially if you want to have a table outside. We prefer inside because it does tend to get windy. We had the smoked salmon pizza, the Greek salad with grilled shrimp and the Surfers ranchero. Highly recommend the Smoke or jalapeño cocktail.Service was top notch.“
“I can't speak highly enough about this place. I used to go here fairly often in the mornings, but I moved several years ago and had been jonesing for their coffee. I recently ordered 2 bags of beans: my previous favorite, the Astral Blend, and one I hadn't yet tried, Hakrz Delight. My GOODNESS the Hakrz blend is amazing. Boldness of a dark roast with the complexity of something much lighter, this may be my new #1 all time.Regarding the service here, when I placed my order, I got a phone confirmation (sorry, I can't remember who called) and she was such a sweetheart. She let me know when my order had just finished roasting, and had it packed and shipped immediately.I'm sharing my coffee with my whole office and everyone agrees, this blend is wonderful.“
“When I went there, they had no lines and the churros were only $2.84 for 3 churros. They were very kind to me and quick to serve. I was craving for churros and started searching. Lo and behold, there is a churro restaurant just exclusively churros set aside sandwiches and smoothies but now I know there is a churro place when I am craving for churrosParking: Good luck finding a place to park as their parking lot is a shared lot.“
“The coffee drinks are great...beautiful foamy presentation, yummy, and perfect temperature. The pastries and cookies are to die for. The service is very prompt and friendly. Ambiance has a very boutiquey feel. There's a large parking lot nearby or can do street parking. Very safe area. I'm from San Jose but, I love coming here.“
“One of the best coffees I’ve had in years. This is the stuff of why coffee is so delicious - not that horror inducing brown water in most places across America.Had the cold brew shaken with cream, and no sweetener. Coffee flavor shone, and perfectly complemented by the richness of the cream (which I understand is house made and certainly tastes like it). Gluten free financier was also delicious and perfect size for a snack.“
“I am a huge fan of Republic of Tea. First, their tagless tea bags keep very well in the plastic free containers they come in (take that boxed Celestial) - they don't lose their potency quickly and at about 25 cents a tea bag (50 bags at $12 a can or so) it is extremely economical to make your own iced tea at home. I'm able to buy their cans in store, or (as I've been doing lately) direct from their website. Shipping turnaround time is a bit on the long side, however it comes packed like a tank and I love that I can re-use the tea containers for other types of teas from smaller companies (like Classy Hippie). All in all, I'm a big fan of the volume of selections on their page and they're very easy to order from. In fact, I think I'm going to buy a few more cans right now!“
“If you are looking for somewhere to buy delicious coffee beans, stop by the new coffee at 1208 4th St. I hate to say it, but their decaf beans that I use for cold brew is better than anything. Peet''s offers. Strong and smooth! The family that works here is very sweet, and the teenager was polite and positive. I will come back soon when I can hang out and drink their pumpkin spice brew or try one of the delicious baked goods. Also know if they have outdoor seating if you have a puppy“
“Biscoff Latte is a must have if you’re visiting this store! The hot chocolates are also really good. Service was nice and the store is very clean and has a lot of yummy goodies to buy. We love coming here every time we are in the area. Overall an amazing experience!“
“This quaint -hippie- modern coffee shop is too cute! Last time I was here there was a musician playing, and I love their organic coffee options! I was the first costumer in line and the Barista was very patient with me, since I can never figure out what I want to drink and I ended up getting a specialty espresso drink. Hee. Plus all their sweets and even gluten free items. Hee. I always stop by here when I'm in the area.“
“Delicious Waffle with brie and avocado, lavender latte with soy was good but a little sweet. Dont have their own wifi - bring a hotspot or can use the wifi in the square which can be. spotty. But, can you ask for a more beautiful area to focus and flow in work?“
“I love coming here because it’s spacious, they have friendly service, good baristas, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Mario, who has been working here for 11 years, is a staple of the cafe. I love supporting the business and visit weekly.“
“This cafe has staying power...has been open for many years. I recently started having weekend breakfast there, but the woman working behind the counter on Saturdays is not very welcoming: stone-face, no smile, no intentional eye contact and no greeting. Big turnoff. Think I'll venture to a more friendlier venue on Saturdays“
“I've been here for breakfast several times over many years. I always experience a friendly, homey place with delicious food. On my most recent visit, I had the best Eggs Benedict I've ever tasted! Thank you Mill Valley Coffee Shop staff!“
“Loved! So busy and lively but you know that's all means good stuff. This latte was soooo creamy and perfectly sweet. Coffee is roasted in house and let me tell you it's some good coffee. They also have a generous food menu and pastries! -Cost of medium almond milk sugar free latte: $6.75 (Because of the modifications)“
“Decent options and big variety for one of the only spots being open at 8am in fisherman's wharf. They were relatively fast and very kind. There's a small sitting area and if you need a quick breakfast and caffeine fix you'll find it here.“
“Totally classic, truly Marin and authentic place. I never eat here but I sure do put a whole lotta love on their Italian cookie section! I love love love buying a big ol' pink box of their great cookies! That and a super-potent espresso while I wait......I'm good! The service was great, clean, and prompt. The price for a box ain't' cheap, as you gotta pay for quality, and that's what you get here! Love it.“
“It's definitely a grab and go. There is seating outside but the small space to wait in line tends to be packed.I got to try the specialty with a friend- it's not bitter coffee and they gave a wonderful taste to the brew which I personally loved. I would go there again as their specialities are unique and flavorful“
“The owner Cindy is the best barista I’ve met she loves to see customers happy with every cup of coffee she makes for them. She loves to have everything done with perfection and, let me say that’s what makes Bean Crema & Tea my favorite spot for coffee. They also, have very reasonable prices compared to other places and the best thing is that their pastries are home made, on top of that! they are very delicious. The atmosphere is great and makes me feel comfortable.“
