“We had our wedding reception at Tiburon Tavern on August 22nd and had such a great experience from beginning to end.

Working with Coco, our event manager, made the planning process so much easier. She was very communicative, helpful, organized, and always easy to work with. She made sure everything was taken care of and really helped make the whole process less stressful for us.

We also want to thank the amazing staff, Yasenia, Ariel, David, Gerson, and Joseph. Everyone was friendly, attentive, professional, and made sure our guests were taken care of throughout the night.

The food and drinks were amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the entire place was very clean and well kept. Everything came together really well, and we received a lot of compliments from our guests.

We are very thankful to Coco and the entire Tiburon Tavern team for helping make our wedding reception such a special and memorable night. We would definitely recommend Tiburon Tavern to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue in the area.“

The brunch-type food is excellent, and the music and decor are individualistic and welcoming (check out the restroom too! Love the generous, relaxing spa vibe and the chandelier!). There’s a bowl of unique, handmade metal-and-glass kaleidoscopes to play with at the big table, and around a corner we got to meet a sweet little 18-year-old resident doggie named Twiggy. “I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“I haven’t been to a Luke’s in many years, and now I feel like I’ve wasted so much time. I absolutely love lobster rolls and this experience topped any recent ones I’ve tried. They offer three different sizes, so you can gorge on as much or as little as you want. I appreciate that the lobster meat is as close to the original form as can be…there was a small claw on my roll. I prefer this to the chopped up lobster salads where it may not all be lobster. And I always remember the celery seasoning on top. It’s unique and delicious. The bread roll was amazing, and the meal includes a bag of chips and a drink, as well as pickles. Truly one of the most delicious I’ve had in a long time. I won’t wait to go back to Luke’s when I’m craving a lobster rolls.“

I have never had the chance to experience this particular cuisine and now I cannot wait until they open the Municipal Marketplace in San Francisco's tenderloin neighborhood! expected to open in July, KAYMA will be one of the stalls featured there. absolutely every morsel I tried at that dinner was delicious but they're brined black olives were incredible! hoping they will have them available in jars to take home!“
